JUNIPER

it had been a few weeks since billie has been released from the hospital, and she's never been more of a devil than today. she didn't want to do her workouts, go to therapy and insisted all day she needed a drink to survive.

"just give me a little! just a tiny sip!", juniper who was standing in the middle of the counter holding up a liquor bottle high in the air shook her head and sighed.

"billie, drink your water and let's go!", for the past hour and a half the boys had left since juniper came over to billie's house to take care of her. she cancelled all planning and celebratory gatherings that concerned her when she found out billie was in the hospital. now she was spending her summer rehabbing the pop star herself.

it was mostly listening to her snore or complain about how bad her stomach hurt, the vomiting had died down since she was getting used to not drinking her weight everyday.

"dude. seriously. just hand me it, i'll be fine. i just need one, please.", she begged, her lips were in a pout and her big blue eyes were staring at juniper pleadingly. she nearly gave in, then she realized what affect billie had on her and shook it off.

"no.", the singer grumbled and made grabby hands to the smaller girl, wanting to hold her.

"fine if i can't have that, let me have you.", juniper tucked the bottle under her arm and kneeled down on the marble surface. she unfolded her legs from underneath her and hopped into billie's awaiting arms.

the times she did do the workouts that were assigned to her helped her out a lot more. she could run medium distances now and use heavier weights. benching, deadlifting, squatting and all the basic necessities weren't a marathon for her anymore. the bags under her eyes were disappearing slowly, getting an average of 4-7 hours of sleep each night.

her weight previously being 176 to a solid 155. it was a long process since billie didn't exactly make it easy for any of them. her confidence was coming back slowly, juniper wasn't exactly sure why she felt the need to lose it anyway, she was the most attractive person to the smaller girl no matter what.

she asked billie why she felt the need to workout instead of just switching to a healthy diet so she wasn't stuck on a hospital bed. her answer was "i want to be able to carry you wherever i want, i need to be able to carry my world in my hands."

if juniper told you she didn't cry to those words later that night, she's lying.

"don't drop me, eilish.", she smiled and snuggled into her shoulder when she started to walk to the couch.

"no! no! go get ready!", she lightly pounded billie's shoulder as she laughed, falling into the cushions of the couch. the times they weren't arguing about keeping billie healthy they were bonding or spending the maximum amount of time together.

juniper would sit next to her watching youtube on her phone when she would be writing or getting back into her career, taking naps with her when she was over, cooking vegan dishes because she learned recipes as time went by.

"just let me hold you, god damnit.", billie's arms snaked around her waist, squeezing and keeping her hostage.

"no. get up and go get ready, we're not doing this right now.", she whined and stuffed her face into juniper's neck, she still didn't make a move and the short girl has never felt more of a urge to slap someone than now.

"i don't understand what's your obsession with working out.", she let out a grumble but slid juniper off her lap and onto the cushions next to her.

"it's good for you, bubs.", she patted billie's ass as she walked away, going to change into comfortable clothing. billie had gone out a few times, being recognized only when she didn't wear anything to cover up. she had begged her fans to keep quiet about her return so she could stay in hiding until she was ready.
