Tyler's POV
I put on an outfit that was on the bag. It was an old shirt that I use to wear when I was like 14, no surprise my dad brought me clothes I used to wear. He doesn't know me. I got up and went into the bathroom connected to my room. I looked in the mirror and noticed how beat up my face really looked. I needed to shower. I took off the clothes I already put on and got in the shower. One hour till Bri is out of school.

Bri's POV
It was in finally the end of the day, I hopped in my car when a kid I think named Alex came up to me.
"Hey Bri right?"
"Yeah and Alex?"
"Yes. I just was wonder wing if you are going to see Tyler anytime soon."
Oh this is nice, Tyler has a friend.
"I'm actually on my way there now. Why do you ask?" I opened my car door and threw my stuff in.
"Well I was wondering if I could come with you. I have some books and work to bring him that's due tomorrow. Also, I kind of want to talk to him ya know? He's a good guy." I smiled at him.
"Of course you can. Hop in."

We got to the intersection of the hospital and some restaurants.
"You know Alex. Has anyone ever told you that you looked like Patrick in Perks Of Being A Wallflower?" He laughed and shook his head.
"You know what, that's the first time." We got inside and walked up the stairs. The lady in the office told me that we were Tyler's second group of visitors, so that must mean his dad came around today.

Tyler's POV
I got Bri's text saying she was outside. I stood behind the door and waited for her to walk in so I could scare her. I heard a knock and she walked in. I jumped out and threw my arms around her. My eyes were closed and she felt taller and more muscular than usual.
"Well I'm happy to see you as well Joseph." It was Alex.
"Oh my god. I'm sorry Alex, I I thought you were-"
"Me!" It was Bri this time.
We all laughed and I invited them in to take a seat.
"So Joseph. You and little miss tomato head are a thing?" I turned to her and she turned to me.
"I guess you can say something like that." She winked at me. We talked for an hour about school and just random thoughts.
"Well I better be getting home now. My grandmas probably worried about me."
Bri stood up and grabbed her keys.
"I'll drive you back."
"Oh no, it's fine. I live right across the street. Plus, you two need some time together."
"Only if you want to. It was nice meeting you Alex." Bri hugged him and he was on his way out.

Bri's POV
After Alex left I turned around to a goofy posed Tyler laying on his bed. "Paint me like one of your French girls, Bri."
I smiled and ran over to him.
"I can't paint you nerd."
"Oh so you only paint cool people not nerds?"
I moaned "you know what I meant."
Tyler got quiet. "I missed you today." Of course I did to. "Same here." I hugged him, and he held me tight playing with my hair.
After about ten minutes of us cuddling the doctor came into his room.
"Great news, you're free to go!" I smiled lets go!
"Good, because I'm starving!"

We walked out the visitors door and got into my car. Tyler looked at me as if he were ready to cry. That "as if" turned into tears and he put his head into his hands.
"Tyler. What's wrong!?"
He shook his head and I grabbed one of his hands.
"My dad came in today, he's leaving and-"
"Never coming back? Yeah I know." He looked at me like he was scared.
"How, how did you know?"
I started the car and looked at him again.
"Last night when I got home he came over to give me those clothes so I could bring them to you. I made him come and tell you."
He shook his head again this time angrily.
"Well, what about the money?" I pulled away but came back and turned his face towards me.
"It was from my mother, not him. Please keep it, my mom just wants to make sure you are okay."
"That ass. He told me it was from my grandma. Whatever, I can't keep that money." I shook my head, I couldn't stand to see Tyler so upset with bloodshot eyes.
"Please Tyler, it would make me and my mother happy if you would."
He pulled it out of his pocket.
"Please understand that I can't have this. I have no way to repay you."
I smiled at him wiping away his tears.
"Well just, repay me with this."
I pulled him in close and started to kiss his forehead and down to his mouth. He gave no hesitation and kissed me back.
"I can't repay your mother with that you know. That's just wrong." We both laughed and started on our way to my house.
