Rudy Takes On Boston

It's been a couple weeks and I'm heading into finals week. I have been so busy because I'm one of those people who need straight A's to feel good-however I know an occasional B is just as good. I can't believe in one week I'll officially be a senior in college. Rudy and I have stayed in contact while he's been in LA but with the time difference sometimes it's hard. He's been getting ready to head back to South Carolina-in fact he leaves today to start shooting the show. I see a FaceTime call coming in from Rudy as I'm walking through campus.

"Hey," I greet him, "are you headed to the airport?"

"Yes ma'am"

"Okay we'll have a safe flight and let me know when you land" I state.

"Of course mom" Rudy jokes.

"Hey!!" I laugh it off.

"Okay well I have a surprise for you!"

"Wait what? Why?" I ask.

"Just because I want to and I miss you..."

I stop in my tracks trying to not hope that I can come visit him because that would be too much to even ask for.

"...so I booked you a flight for after your finals." He finished. 

"STOP IT. NO WAY."

Rudy laughs at my reaction, "Yes way."

"No no that's way too much from you, like seriously, I can't accept that-I mean I'll come and all but you can't do that for me."

"Stop it. Yes I can and it's a present and vacation for after you finish finals and before you start working."

I literally jump up with excitement, "Rudy I can't even begin to explain how thankful I am!"

"It's seriously no problem I can't wait to see you and you can meet rest of the cast."

"Oh gosh now I'm nervous."

"Oh stop it you'll love them and they'll love you. But hey I'll talk to you more when I land because I'm about to pull up to the airport. Good luck on your final today you're gonna do amazing."

"Thank you. Ok I'll talk to you later."

I run to my friends to tell them the news as they are still rooting for Rudy and I, however, as I always say I want everything to be natural. But I mean I can't deny his good looks. Day by day I crush my finals and begin to pack up my dorm room. The end of the semester is so sad because I leave all my friends and I live the farthest away from all of them. On our last night together and just hang in my room and relive the memories from last semester. The next morning my dad comes to help me move out since my car can't fit all of my belongings. My flight was for Tuesday out of Bradley instead of Logan since that airport is closer to my house. This was heavily on my mind not only because I was excited but also because I would have to unpack all my college stuff and then repack for South Carolina. Once I got back from SC I would have to repack some of my college stuff as I would also be living and working there this summer. My dad and I pulled into my driveway about 5 mins apart from each other and unload my belongings. The rest of my family and my puppy greeted me-I missed my puppy so much. With it being Sunday night I had to quickly get myself settled, enjoy a home cooked meal, and then continue to unload my stuff. Tuesday morning came quick enough as I FaceTimed Rudy not really knowing his schedule. He had been filming for about a week or so now.

"Hello?" a different male voice asked.

"Oh hey is Rudy there?"

"Yes give me a sec," then loudly yelled, "RUDY! PHONE!"

"Hey sorry" Rudy said.

I laughed, "No problem who was that?"

"That was Chase we're roommates" he explained.

"Ahh okay well my dad is about to drive me to the airport in an hour or so."

"Yes and I'll be there to pick you up. I'm so excited."

"I know me too."

"I'm going to set for a few hours so if you don't hear from me that's why but I'll be there don't worry. Okay I gotta go sorry."

"Go go I'll see you later."

I finished packing, cleaned up my room, and said my goodbyes for the 2 weeks I would be gone. The plane ride felt like it took forever but finally it landed and I got off. I started to walk out, confused because I've never been to this airport, and then I see his face.
