Rudy Takes On Boston

Rudy takes my hand, which has never affected me before but for some reason I smiled at the action, and leads me to his trailer. He has to get changed into a different outfit so he does so and then takes me to craft service where I met JD, Austin, and Drew.

"Ayo" one boy says.

"Hey guys this is Aspyn. Aspyn this is JD, Austin, and Drew" as he points to each boy.

I see that Austin is the boy who first exclaimed when Rudy entered the tent.

"Hi it's nice to meet you."

So how long are you here for?" JD asks.

"Two weeks" I tell him.

"Well we better make the most of it" he states.

I nod in agreement. Now this is where I become shy. I'm not quite sure Rudy has seen this part of me because for some reason with him I didn't feel this way. However I am naturally a quiet and shy person when I first meet people. As I'm thinking about explaining this side of my later to Rudy I hear a loud, exciting girl behind me and I turn around.

"And this is Cline" Rudy laughs.

"Ahh Aspyn right?!"

"Yes that's me" I laugh.

"Hi I'm Maddie...Chase said that you guys briefly met."

"Oh yes I hope you enjoyed his choice of shoes last night that was my doing" I laughed and saw Chase pop up behind her.

"Yes fantastic choice I might add" Chase says.

Rudy introduced me to some other supporting actors like Deion. Everyone was super nice just like Rudy said they would be. Their location today was right on the beach so we walked down as Rudy had some time to kill.

"So my shyness definetly came out up there" I laughed.

"I noticed that what's that about?"

"That has always been me I just have to warm up to people to know I can trust them I guess. With you I don't know what was different, maybe because you were a stranger I didn't have a reason to be nervous but these people are your friends or family it seems like so I wanna set a good impression but also know who I can trust. I hope that made sense."

"Completely." He stated.

We sat in silence on the beach enjoying the waves crashing before he had to get back to working. I watched Rudy for another few hours until they wrapped for the day. It was now around 9pm and they were all exhausted but still ready to go out on the town. They really knew how to have a good time. We headed back to Rudy's place to shower and get ready. We quickly got ready and headed to the restaurant to meet everyone and we danced the night away. The restaurant turned into a bar after a certain time so it was wicked fun. Later when we got home Rudy and laid in bed talking about our days-although we were in the same place we had completely different days.

"The girls were so nice which made me feel better because girls can be hard to be friends with" I explain.

"Wait what but you're a girl."

"I know but I've always been better friends with guys...less drama, more fun...and I always end up being like the mom friend."

Rudy laughs at me and so do I. I like that we can laugh and make fun of each other. We begin to get quieter as we get more and more tired. As I'm drifting off to sleep I hear Rudy say,

"I'm really happy you're here."

All I could respond with was "hmm" but I knew he knew I meant the same.
