Bryan's POV:

Our game against the Briarwood Christian Lions was last night and I was suspended. Kylee got to play quarterback instead. She looked so amazing out there. And we won too. It was just really natural for her to be throwing around a football. I honestly regret what I did to her and I'm not just saying that because I wanted to play. I realized she didn't deserve that and she definitely didn't deserve me.

Seeing Kylee play makes me think that football is her passion. She claims soccer is but I know playing football makes her a little closer to her dad. As much as she can be anyway. After he passed away last year, she was a little bit of a mess.

I won't lie to you. I did have a big crush on her but once her dad passed, it was like a flame inside of her died. She started concentrating more and more on school and soccer. She quit coming over as much and was no longer my friend but my twin sisters best friend.

She was just a girl who lived down the street. Just a girl trying to live her life without her father. It hurt not being close to her anymore but it hurt more seeing her like that.

I don't know why I did what I did but I just did. I can't take back pushing her to the ground or that face she gave me when she looked up at the monster I became. I'd do anything for a do over but it doesn't work that way.

Kylee's POV:

Football season was winding down. However, not yet. We had homecoming this week and I was excited. Today was Tuesday and it was Opposite Day meaning girls dress as boys and boys dress as girls.

I had on a backwards white hat, a #swole tank top, some gym shorts with Capri leggings underneath and some white converse. (Above Pic) Some of the guys from the team had dresses on. It was great really. Each day we had a different theme for spirit week.

It was an A day today and I had all my odd classes. Also my least favorite ones. But to make up for it, Chase is in my last 3 classes so yay for me. I just have to get through Algebra 2 with John and Bryan first. I walked into Mr.Clines class, on time, and took a seat in the back.

The bell rung and the rest of the students filed in. Bryan, however was no where in sight and had yet to show up. I knew he was here though, I mean we practically live together now. 15 minutes later, Bryan strolls into class. And unfortunately, the only empty seats were either by me or up at the front next to Molly Windrop and I know he can't stand either.

But much to my surprise, Bryan walks right past me and makes his way to the front, sitting right beside Molly. Wow. What's his problem? I thought we were good now but I guess not. After the much dreaded class, I picked up my belongings and fled the classroom. On the way to my locker to collect my books for my next class, I bumped into Chase.

"Hey sorry Kaylee, didn't see ya there" he said in his sweet Texas accent.
"It's alright" I assure him.
"Here let me walk you to your next class. We are going to the same place after all." He says.

I follow Chase to our Spanish class after grabbing my books from my locker. When we get to Mr. Rogers class the bell rings. We walk in and take our seats near the back of the class. Tired of listening to Mr. Rogers go on and on about Spanish verbs, I closed my eyes for a moment.

"Kylee. Kylee." Someone said shaking me awake, literally. I looked up to see Chase. Crap I'd fallen asleep in class and right next to him.
"You look adorable when you sleep" He said.
"How about you go on a date with me?" Chase asked. "I'd like that" I replied "Great" he smiled "here's my number. Text me your address after school and I'll pick you up around 3:30"
