Jimin's POV

Waking up to who I thought was y/n, being utterly embarrassed and then nearly having a heart attack as y/n falls was the way I started the morning. This turn of events had left me feeling a little shaken and I think Hobi noticed, as he came over and sat next to me, not saying anything, but placing his hand on my thigh reassuringly.

Today we were allowed to explore the small country town that we were passing through to get to the next concert destination. This seems a perfect opportunity to spend some time with y/n. While the others are busy bickering over breakfast, I turn to y/n, preparing myself. She notices the look on my face and waits patiently for the words to spill out of my mouth.

"Do you perhaps want to go to the local cafe later?" I asked, trying not to stumble on my words. Y/n looks almost excited and it makes my heartbeat go crazy, but calms my nerves somewhat. "Sure! That sounds fun!" I can't seem to look at her directly in the eyes, because my heart seems to be going crazy.

Y/n's POV

Jimin's unexpected proposal was quite endearing. I loved how he had looked at the ground shyly. I knew the sexy Jimin, not personally of course, but the contrast between that on-stage persona and the nervous mess in front of me was quite amusing.

There wasn't a possibility that he was nervous because he liked me... no, it's Park Jimin, there's no reason why he would take any interest in me. He could have his choose of most girls in the world. So there is no way he chose me.

As we step out into the summer sun, I shield my eyes from the impossible brightness. I turned to the member standing next to me who happened to be Jin. "Do you have any sun cream?" I asked apologetically, knowing that my tolerance to the sun was way lower than theirs. He smiled his welcoming smile down at me, almost blinding me once more. "Yes I do, here you go." He handed the product to me and I thanked him gratefully, walking to catch up with the others.

I walked over to join Yoongi who was moping by himself. "Hey," I started, "Something wrong?" He looked at me and smiled softly, I seemed to have interrupted his thoughts. He shook his head slightly and sighed gently. "Just tired I guess," he replied and I watched his movements curiously. I could tell it was more than that, but decided to leave it and not pry.

We sat at the park, the staff supplying us with some food from the local shop. I noticed Mi-Cha watching me with toxicity all over her face. I took no offence and no notice of her because god was she not worth it. We sat on the grass in the sparkling sun and clear sky.

Jin's POV

I had watched y/n walk into the sun, looking slightly like an angel in the sunlight. She covered her eyes, squinting adorably. She turned to me, taking me off guard. Her request for sun cream seemed small to her, just a casual request, but my heart had taken off at her mere attention. Calm down Jin. I cursed myself in my head for losing my cool around her so easily.

I smiled and grabbed the sun cream, handing it to her. Her fingers brushed against mine momentarily, and although she didn't seem to notice, my body jolted in surprise and my skin was tingling where she had touched me. I shook my head at myself as she walked away, a carefree young girl who deserved more than the idol life with me.

Y/n's POV

The others said they were heading back after a few hours, but I insisted to stay a bit longer and watch the sunset. Left alone, I saw Mi-Cha stalking over, looking like she believed she was important. "May I ask-" I started before she cut me off rudely, shouting expletives at me shamelessly.

I took them head on, not really giving a damn about her thoughts. I noticed Yoora watching in horror a few metres away. She didn't intervene, just turned and ran. I didn't blame her, after all it wasn't like Mi-Cha was actually hurting me in anyway. That was until I was slapped across the face. The exact reasoning for this outburst I wasn't sure about because I had been ignoring everything she had been saying.

I was shocked of course but I wasn't giving her the pleasure of knowing that. She held her arm up again, threateningly before Yoora and Hobi came running towards me, Hobi shouting at Mi-Cha to stop. Once Mi-Cha released who was running towards us, her skin paled immeasurably. "I-I..." she stuttered, at a loss for words.

Hoseok looked more furious than I had ever seen him before. "You." He pointed at Mi-Cha accusingly, don't ever touch y/n again." My heart was beating in my chest, my brain utterly confused, hardly having time to catch up with events. Hobi pulled me gently to my feet and shot a glare back at Mi-Cha. "You're in trouble."

As we walked away, I could hear Mi-Cha's cries and although I was supposed to feel some empathy towards that girl, all I felt was that justice had been served.
