Jin's POV

When y/n's face turned from one of excitement to worry, I was concerned. Why had her mood changed so quickly? Was it something we said? Why haven't the members noticed yet? I ask her what's wrong over Taehyung and Jimin's heads. When they hear my question, both Jimin and Tae whip their heads around to y/n's direction.

She explains that she has forgotten to tell her family that she was with us. I breathe a sigh of relief, realising it wasn't anything we did and a problem that can be easily solved. Bang PD nim talks from behind us and obediently, we all shuffle out of the bus except Namjoon who was instructed to stay with y/n.

I'm kind of jealous of Namjoon for being the one to stay with her, but it makes sense, he is the one fluent in English and the leader of the group. I hope after her phone call y/n will be happy again because seeing her face without a smile makes me feel upset for her.

Y/n's POV

"Um," my mind has blanked and I am panicking. I don't know what to say. All of a sudden, my phone is taken from my hand and instead held in Namjoon's as he starts to speak. "Hello, I am Namjoon, leader of BTS, your daughter attended the fan sign yesterday and the members took a liking to her. Our manager offered for her to stay on tour with us and she accepted. Y/n remembered that she forgot to call you yesterday and felt bad and so this is why she is calling you now. I am sorry if we caused you any concern or worry."

Mum looks taken aback. A world-famous idol has just told her that her daughter is staying with them on tour over facetime. I almost feel the urge to giggle at the absurd situation. "O-oh, well I understand, how long is your tour?" I know that mum is confused and probably a little angry that she has no say in this matter, but I think that Namjoon's professionalism makes her feel calmer. "About a month or two, then y/n can come home. Obviously, if she chooses to, she is allowed to leave whenever."

I see mum nod and then she mumbles something about being busy and for us to have a fun time before hanging up. "That was awkward," I say out of lack of things to talk about. Namjoon smiles and sighs before standing up and offering a hand to me. "Let's get the others and go then." He says, his hand in mine making me feel safe.

Namjoon's POV

Seeing y/n stutter and struggle made me feel almost bad for her. How was she to describe this situation to her mum? So I take her phone out of her hand carefully, not wanting to drop it and break it. Although beneath the surface I am trembling in fear at talking to y/n's mum for the first time, I put up a front, the same one I use for speeches at award shows. I explain everything as simply as I can so as to put her at ease that her daughter is fine.

As expected, she looks confused and a little upset that this news is so sudden, but she looks as though she has accepted it and decided her daughter is safe. Internally, I breathe a sigh of relief and y/n's mum hangs up saying she is busy now. I feel so happy with myself for being able to help y/n. The relief on her face is evident and her mood is uplifting once more. I realise how long we have to get to know one another one-two months of talking and observing. I wonder what things I will get to learn about y/n. I can't wait.

Getting up, I offer her my hand and we walk to the doorway of the bus, hand in hand.
