Atticus watched as the young princess left before following her. He would ask her for a dance before leaving. He looked around and saw her speaking with Violet. With a gulp, he summoned up his courage and walked up to her.

"Um Flora", he said.

She turned around.

"Yes?", she asked.

"Would you want to dance with me?", he asked.

"Sure", she said with a look at Violet, who shrugged.

Flora broke away from her conversation with her friend and followed Atticus towards the middle of the dancing and fun. He let himself get into the right position and began to dance with her.  This felt so right. His gaze slid towards Bryan, who was dancing with Violet. He dipped his head to Atticus and lead his dance partner away.

"You know I'm smitten by you right?", she asked in a low whisper.

"I know", he whispered back with a blush.

The King of Windsor was laughing with King Edward while the King of Eldor was shaking his head from side to side with impatience. The three Queens were having a heated discussion over dresses while the princess were trying to catch the guards' eyes.  Atticus turned his gaze back towards Flora. She was looking up at him with love in her bright eyes.  He felt like he was drowning in her gaze. Once the music stopped, he let her walk off and he sat down with a sigh of wonder.  How could he, the unstoppable Atticus, fall for such a beautiful girl?
