Chapter 4

Faith's POV~

I had to tell my dad about me and Carl. I was walking around trying to find him.

He was in the library. He was arguing with Rick.

I hid behind a door.

Dad said "........Listen to me Rick. I'm completely fine with Carl dating my daughter.....BUT if he hurts her I hurt you.

He gave Rick a death glare.

I was definitely going to tell my dad just not today.

I went to find Beth. She was my best friend. She was my only friend.

I found her in her sell. "Hey Beth. Watch ya doin'?" I asked.

I definitely scared her.

She screamed but I said "Jesus Greene calm down its only me." I laughed at her reaction.

She playfully hit me.

"Hey Faith so how did it go with Carl!"

I-it went well....ummm he said he felt the same way and he umm asked me to be his ummmm girl-girlfriend!"

We had our fan girl moment.

But it was over when my dad came in "what are you to getting all girly about?"

He laughed at us.

"Ummm.....oh,nothing." I lied

"Faith Dixon! Stop lying! Tell me the truth!"

I grunted before I could reply Beth said "you are defiantly a Dixon" we giggled.

"Fine, well I told Carl how I felt and he felt the same way and then he asked me to be his girlfriend I said yes. But I went to tell you. You were in the library and I heard you arguing with Rick. I heard you say if Carl hurts me you hurt Rick. But I promise you he won't hurt me and if he does you have full permission from me to hurt Rick and Carl." I was out of breath because I said most of it in one breath.

He just looked at me and smiled. "My baby has her first boyfriend!"

Carl's POV

I was walking to go outside when I was about to pass Beth's sell when I heard Faith talking to her dad. She said "Fine well I told Carl how I felt and he felt the same way and then he asked me to be his girlfriend I said yes.but I went to tell. You were in the library arguing with Rick. I heard you say if Carl hurts me you hurt Rick. But I promise you he won't hurt me and if he does you have full permission from me to hurt Rick and Carl"

I smiled. I would never hurt Faith

Then I heard Daryl say "My baby has her first boyfriend.

I smiled even wider if that was possible.

Then Daryl came out he patted my head and walked away.
