A/N I'm going to start a schedule so that I publish each part on or before every Friday. I might increase to two parts a week based on however long it takes to write them.

As I went to sleep, I thought about everything that happened today. Did I do the right thing by screaming at Chloe? I mean, we both have had crushes on Adrien for so long, I'm starting to understand why Chloe asked Adrien out. I think I should probably apologize to Chloe tomorrow at school. Maybe I should go to visit Adrien, too as Ladybug. Maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. I just hope I'm not so grumpy tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, do we have that algebra test tomorrow or next Wednesday? I checked the school website on my phone, and the test isn't until two weeks from now, which is good, I guess. I wish Adrien liked me instead of Ladybug. He probably just has a crush on Ladybug because of how she saves everyone all the time. Now that I think about it, neither of us is that great. I might save a lot of people, but deep down, I'm still just a clumsy brat with anger issues. I check the time on my phone. 1:46 a.m. Oh crap, I better get to sleep!

*In the morning*

BEEEEEEEP! BEEEEEEEP! BEEEEEEEP! BEEEEEEEP!  Ugh, what is that TERRIBLE noise?! Oh yeah, it's my alarm. I lean over, turn it off, and leap out of bed. "Today's going to be a great day!" I shout. "Great to see you so enthusiastic, but come on honey, you have to hurry up or you will be late to see Adrie- I mean late for school!" I turn and see a flash of Mom's head as she closes the trapdoor. If she had finished saying what she meant to say, I would have killed her. I know Mom means well, but sometimes she crosses lines that are never meant to be crossed.

"'Tikki?"

"Yes, Marinette?"

"Can you go get my clothes while I do my hair?"

"Of course, Marinette!"

"Thanks, Tikki!"

As I put my hair into my signature pigtail buns, Tikki brings me my floral-printed tank top, black cardigan, and pink cropped leggings. My pink flats are in front of the trapdoor. Once I'm dressed, I grab my purse and my backpack, put on my flats, and walk down the stairs to the bakery. I blow a kiss to my mom and dad, grab a croissant, and head across the street to school. I end up being a few minutes early, so I walk to the park, find a bench to sit on, and eat my breakfast.

When I'm done, I run to school and make it to Ms. Bustier's class right after the bell rings. "Marinette, you are late AGAIN. I don't know why, since I saw you in school 5 minutes ago, but if you are late again this week, you will get an hour of detention. Now, let's get started with the lesson." Ms. Bustier said. I sighed as I walked to my seat. I guess I'd apologize to Chloe during lunch. Right then, Adrien walked into class "Adrien, you're late. I hope this isn't a recurring occurrence. Anyways," Ms. Bustier drones on and on about our upcoming tests. EXCUSE ME?!?! Why the heck does Adrien get let off the hook? I mean, I know he's gorgeous and smart and strong and an image of pure perfection, but he shouldn't be slipping through the hands of punishment like that!

"Ahem, Ms. Bustier?" A certain girl who was born on a throne of lies said.

"Yes, Lila?"

"I know why Marinette was late."

"And why is that?"

"I saw her assaulting Adrien behind the school today."

"Ugh, NO, I didn't!" I shot out of my seat.

"Miss, Marinette would NEVER do something like that, and you know it!" Alya defended.

"That's right, Mari didn't even lay a finger on me today. I saw her eating lunch in the park and then rushing to school as my car was pulling up to the school." Adrien said calmly.

"Ms. Cesaire, Mr. Agreste, I can handle this by myself. No blurting. And Marinette, sit down, please. Lila, it seems as though you have lied because Marinette hasn't and never will do anything like to that."

"I told that Marinette girl that I will tear all her friends away from her, including Adrien, and I keep my word," Lila muttered to herself, obviously not wanting to be heard. I was boiling with rage, a bomb about to explode. I just hope that I can see Chloe during lunch. Speaking of Chloe, I could see her watching Sabrina do her homework. That's odd. Normally Sabrina only does Lila's homework. Oh well. I'm probably just imagining things.

*At lunch*

I rushed out of class and started running through the halls to meet Chloe in time when I bumped into someone and fell onto the floor, my stuff scattered everywhere. "I-I-I'm sorry, I just wasn't watching where I was going and I ran into you because I was spacing out and I..." I rambled as I rubbed my head and looked up slowly. "Oh. Adrien." I picked up my stuff and then left. "Mari, wait! Did I do something wrong?" Adrien asked. I just kept walking to the park because I knew that was where Chloe was. As I approached her, she turned around, looked at me, and scoffed.

"Oh look! Maritrash is here!" Chloe said

Geez, that hurt! "Chloe, why are you so mean? I came here to apologize for yelling at you, but now it seems like you don't deserve it." I told her.

"Good, because I don't want trash to apologize for being trash." Chloe spat.

With that, I left. I was so tired of today, from Lila's lies to Adrien's obliviousness to Chloe's rudeness. I need a break from all of this crap. Thank gosh Alya doesn't have to babysit her twin sisters today. Well, I suppose I'll go back to class.

*At night in Marinette's room*

"Ugh, Tikki, tell me today was just a dream!"

"But then I'd be lying, and I couldn't lie to you, Marinette!"

"Well, good night, Tikki!"

"Good night, Marinette!" I soon heard Tikki's snores. Then, I remembered that I was going to ask Alya if I could hang out with her. Well, that idea just flew out the window. Oh, well. I doubt she had anything fun to do at her place except her Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir TV show she's filming about Ladybug (Madelyn) and Chat Noir (Alex). I close my eyes and try to fall asleep.
