Brynjolf
You had lived in Honeyside before you met Brynjolf. About 4 months in your relationship, Brynjolf had stared spending the night at your house occasionally. Eventually, he had so much of his stuff there, he had basically moved in.

Savos Aren
Before you had joined the college, you lived in Windhelm. You eventually got tired of the racism and when to Winterhold to join the college. You stayed in your own quarters for a while. Then after you had made your relationship with Savos public among your fellow college members, you moved your stuff up to the Arch-Mage's Quarters.

Vilkas
You were an adventurer before you joined the companions, so you kinda were living all over the place. After you joined, you got your own bed where the whelps sleep. Then after you became Harbinger, you and Vilkas stayed in Kodlak's old quarters. You renovated Vilkas's old room into a children's room after you guys had kids.

Farkas
You lived in Breezehome shortly before joining the companions. When Vilkas had kids, Farkas already had most of his things at your house. After fully moving out of Jorrvaskr, Vilkas took over his room. He didn't mind though. He had a whole house and a beautiful partner. What more could he ask for?

Ulfric Stormcloak
You were born and raised in Windhelm, so it was kinda expected of you to join the Stormcloaks. After Ulfric proposed to you, you moved into the Palace of the Kings.

Bishop (mod)
You were born in Riverwood. When you got older, you became an adventurer. After coming back to visit family, you met Bishop. You both lived all over the place while adventuring together. You guys moved into your own cabin after getting married.
