I ran back to the meeting point as fast as I could.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?? We've been looking everywhere for you!" Both Danica and Roger began bombarding me with questions.

"Why is your lipstick smeared??"

Oh no. I didn't even think about the fact that I had actually put on makeup today to make a good impression at the convention.

"I- It is?" I stammered, quickly pulling out my phone to check my reflection and fix the lipstick. "Sorry guys, I guess the panel ran over, and my phone was on do not disturb!"

"The panel? You've been at Kristen's panel this whole time? Why did it take so long and WHY is your lipstick messed up??" Roger demanded. Ugh. His straggot ass always having make comments about girls and their makeup.

"Well, yeah, I've been at the panel," I replied. "Afterwards there was a VIP meet and greet, so that took up some time too."

"VIP? How did you get in?" Danica questioned.

"Well... Kristen may or may not have given me a VIP pass earlier..."

"OMG! I KNEW she had the hots for you! Kristen Stewart totally has a crush on you!" Danica squealed.

"Well yeah, there's more... She also kissed me AND asked me on a date tonight!"

"A DATE?" Roger and Danica said in unison.

"yeah... I'm meeting her at her hotel tonight at 8."

"Hey! Hey you!" A voice rang out from behind us. I turned around and saw a familiar person, although I didn't recognize his face. "You're the girl that was making out with Kristen, right?"

"Yeah...? And you are..." then I put two and two together. "Oh! You must be Dane, the fan that's dating Robert Pattinson!

"Ha! Yeah, that's me. But don't get it twisted- HE'S more the fan in this situation. I had never even heard of him before he saw my tik toks and slid into my DMs. He just likes to pretend that I'M a crazy fanboy of his just because he's more famous than me."

"Well, from what I saw backstage... it looks like y'all are really into each other."

"Yeah, we are 😌," he responded. "Can I take y'all out to lunch?"

So I introduced Dane to Danica and Roger, he told us of this really cool local bar and grill, and we headed that way.

Lunch was delicious, and Dane payed for us all. Oh to be a tik tok star.

"Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" Dane asked me as we were leaving.

"Sure!" We hung back from Danica and Roger, who were happily chatting ahead a few yards.

"So... how do you actually feel about vampires?" Dane started, "Like... why were you at the convention? Are you actually interested in vampires or just wanting to get a selfie with famous people like lots of others were?"

"How do I feel about vampires? I LOVE THEM. I'm a total vampire fanatic. Human life seems so boring compared to being a vampire."

"So... do you actually believe in vampires then? Or do you just mean you like the movies and lore surrounding vamps?" He countered.

"Well, everyone knows vampires aren't real," I laughed, although I was starting to think Dane actually believed in vampires. "I mean, I wish they were real. That would be so cool!"

"Well, careful what you wish for..." Dane said mysteriously. "And be careful around Kristen. I hangout with her and Rob sometimes. She's a really cool girl and I really like her, but she has a,,, complicated past. Just tread carefully." And with that, he crossed the street and headed the other way. "See you around!" He called.

Weird. I had no clue what he meant, but whatever. Maybe he was just a bit of an oddball. I'm sure it was nothing, right? Whatever he said, Kristen had kissed me first and asked me on a date. She seemed to be a totally normal human.

I caught back up with Danica and Roger, and we headed back to the convention to walk around some more before heading home to get ready for my date.
