We left CVS and walked hand in hand to the club where we were meeting Dane and Robert.

"There you guys are! What took so long?" Dane asked when we walked up.

The look on Robert's face told me he knew right away. I guess when you're a vampire for so long, it's easy to spot makeup covering a bite mark.

"Er- we had to stop at CVS for a second," I explained to Dane.

"Kristen... you didn't.." Robert started, glaring at Kristen.

"No no it's okay! It's okay!" I said to Rob, trying to ease the tension.

"You.. wanted it?" He questioned back.

"What's going on? What are y'all referring to?" Dane questioned.

"Yes, I wanted it," I replied, "more than anything. Kristen has saved me and allowed me to have a life I could've only dreamed of having yesterday."

Then Dane seemed to notice the makeup on my neck, and it clicked in his head.

"Ooooh. Oh oh oh. I see. You..." he pointed to Kristen, "to her..." he trailed off, looking at me. "So it worked then? You're turned? You're a vampire?"

"Hey, keep your voice down," Rob reminded him, "we can't just be yelling things like that in the street." Although he was getting onto Dane, he put his arm around him and pulled him closer to him.

"So that's it then?" Asked Dane, "you didn't want to think about it? Didn't weigh the pros and cons? You just decided to turn on the spot?"

"Well, I didn't really need any convincing." I explained. "My life has always been really boring. The only interesting thing in my life has been my obsession with vampires. It's the only thing I'm passionate about in life. Now, I get to be one. It's a win for me."

"Well, if you're happy, I'm happy :)" Dane said as he smiled, and pulled me into a hug. "Congrats on turning!"

And with that, we turned and went into the club. It wasn't very crowded, which was nice. The majority of people were on the dance floor, with some stragglers on the side and then people at the bar. We picked a spot with 4 empty stools and plopped down to order our drinks. I couldn't help but notice how close Dane and Rob seemed. They were always touching, their bodies nuzzled up against each other, or their fingers intertwined. The way they looked into each others eyes, you could tell how deeply they loved and cared for each other. I wonder if my relationship with Kristen could ever be like that...

After downing a few drinks each and lots of catching up between me and the others, we wandered out to the dance floor. Kristen and I started dancing together, goofing around and just having a good time. I looked over and saw Robert grinding up against Dane, shaking his phat ass like he should. Dane didn't seem to mind, smacking his butt and grinding back on Rob.

"Looks like they're having fun," Kristen laughed. She was so beautiful in the flashing lights of the dance floor. We made our way to the side of the club when we heard,

"Jello shots?" A nice server approached us with a tray of them.

"Uhh, sure!" Kristen and I responded enthusiastically. We both took three.

"Don't worry, they'll put it on my tab," she winked and took her first of the three shots.

When we ventured back out to the dance floor, we found Robert and Dane drunkenly making out in the middle of everyone.

"Get a room!" Kristen hollered at them, poking fun at Robert from earlier. He shooed her away and continued his make out sesh, his arms finding their way wrapped back around Dane.

Kristen and I had just begun to dance again when suddenly I felt a very sharp pain in my head.

"OW!" I exclaimed and fell to the floor.

"Are you okay? What happened?" Kristen asked as she helped me up.

I started to tell her my head hurt, when I realized it didn't anymore. It had just been a momentary, very sharp pain.

"Oh, it's nothing. I just thought..." I began.

"Maybe you should sit down?" Kristen tried to help, "you literally turned today.. your body is going through all kinds of stuff. Maybe we should rest."

"No! It's fine. I think I just need another drink." I did not want to leave. This was the best night of my life. I went to the bar and ordered another. Stumbling back out to K on the dance floor, I was a drunken mess. But not too drunk to stop dancing. We danced some more until I felt the sharp pain in my head again, this time the pain almost pushing me to the point of passing out. Sprawled on the floor, my head pounding, Kristen tried to reach out and help me up. The second her hand reached me, however, she stood up looking confused. She looked around a few times, then down at me.

"What are you doing down there?" She asked, actually helping me up this time. "Wait. Who are you?"

"Huh?" I asked, "It's me Kristen, (y/n)." The room was swimming. I sat down on the dance floor, trying to slow down the spinning in my brain.

"Yeah you seem familiar but... where are we? I don't..." She trailed off. That's when one of the bouncers approached us.

"You need to get her out of here," he said to Kristen. "She's too drunk. Y'all can't be in here with her like that"

"I... oh!" Kristen seemed to understand everything clearly again. "Sure. I'm so sorry. We'll get out of your hair." And she got me up and walked a stumbling me towards the exit, Dane and Robert no where to be seen.
