As I came through the door of orange and black, I found myself at a house made of stone with a mailbox that read Campstone. "Campstone?" I asked myself, curiously. As I looked around, I knew I wasn't at home anymore; everything was prehistoric, which kind of explained why the door looked the way it did. "Hi ya, new neighbor!" I heard a cheerful voice from the next house over. "Huh... what?" I asked, still in disbelief and shock when I realized where I was. "I said Hi ya, new neighbor!" Barney Rubble chuckled as he stopped trimming the hedges.

"What happened to you, you seem liked Fred dropped a boulder on you?" "Ha, ha! I suppose I do. Sorry, I'm just trying to figure out how I got here." "Hmm, looks like someone has a severe case of amnesia. You don't remember moving in?" "Vaguely." "Vaguely, what does that mean?" "Oh, it means I am not quite certain I remember moving in." "Hey, you're pretty smart! Maybe you're just exhausted from your move." "Right, that's probably the reason. Moving is hard work." "Heh, heh, heh. That is true. Especially if you're on your own." "So, is your wife at home?" "What wife?" "You know, Betty? Ha, ha! Now look who has amnesia. Don't you mess with me." "But I'm not married!" Oh, my mistake. I thought, This must be B.B. (Before Betty). "So, I take it Fred's not married either." "Nope." "My name is Christy. I'm looking forward to being your neighbor." "Yeah, I'm Barney Rubble and Fred Flintstone lives over there." "Hey, Bar-ney!!!" Fred calls. "Are you ready to go bowling?" "Yeah, just a second Fred!" Barney answered. "Well, hurry it up. Will you?" Fred replies. "As you can see, Fred has quite the big mouth. Heh, heh, heh. I hope that won't bother you." Barney told me. "I'll get along." I said. "Say, where is the bowling alley around here?" "Huh, I take it you like to bowl?" "Very much." "We could take you there if you like." "Thanks, so much. I can't wait to bowl again." "Barney, will you move it already?! We're losing daylight!"  Fred calls.

"Alright! Alright! I'm coming!" Barney answered. "Let's go before Fred loses his head." "I didn't mean to keep you." "That's alright, Fred could learn a thing or two about patience. Boy, he will have a fit when he finds out you are coming with us." "I know! They'll print it in the newspaper that a girl crashes bowling night and Fred Flintstone hits the roof." "Heh, heh, heh. Hey that's funn-ny!" "I promise, I won't intrude on your game. In fact, you won't even know I'm there." "You don't have to tell me." "Last one to get there is a rotten pterodactyl egg!" "Now that wouldn't be fair, I'm closer to his house than you are." "You keep talking and I will be even more close." I said as I ran past Barney's house. "Hey!" Barney ran over to Fred's house as well. "I'm here! I'm here!" "Well, it's about time! What took you so long?" Fred asked. "Fred, this is Christy Campstone. She's our new neighbor. She wants to check out the local bowling alley." Barney answered. "Well, is that so?" Fred asked. "So, you bowl?" "As best as I can." I answered. "I enjoy bowling for fun." "Well, I guess we can humor you." "Um, thanks." "You took that pretty well, Fred." "Heh, heh, heh. Well, this will be an easy win. There is no way she will beat us. Bowling for fun... Winning will be guaranteed." "I don't know, Fred. She might surprise you." "We'll try to go easy on you, miss." Fred said. "No need! I expect your very best shot." I told him. "I may not have gone bowling for awhile, but I think I can take the challenge." "Fred, I've got a feeling that she's gonna outsmart you." Barney said. "Nonsense, Barney!" Fred replied.

When we arrived at the bowling alley and I got myself a bowling ball, Fred Flintstone said, "Since you are new to Bedrock, I'll let you go first." "Wow, thanks, Fred." I smiled. "I'll try to be worthy of that honor." "Heh, heh, heh!" Barney laughed. "Oh, a wise girl, huh?" Fred mumbled. I tried to concentrate really hard and threw the ball. I only knocked down 4 of the pins. "Aw, what a shame. Better luck next time." "Don't forget I still have one more try." I teased. "Are you kidding? You won't knock down the rest of those pins." Fred said. "I won't?" I asked. "Want a bet?" "Like what?" Fred asked. "If you win, I will make you something to eat for the rest of the week. If I win, hmmm. What should I ask for?" "How about you make Fred your slave for the week?" Barney laughed. "Thanks, a lot, Barn!" Fred exclaimed. "Don't you give her any ideas." "What are you afraid of?" Barney asked. "You said yourself she won't be able to make this shot." "Right!" Fred said. "Alright, Christy! You got yourself a bet." "Gee, if she loses this bet she'd be the slave of the kitchen." Barney said. "There is no way she'll keep up with your appetite." "Very funny, Barn!" Fred said. "Ha, ha, ha." "Hit those pins down, Christy!" Barney called.
