I found myself at the target of the Looney Tunes door, where I couldn't help but wonder what's in store for me here. I'm hoping it's not "wabbit season." "Whewe awe you wabbit?" Elmer Fudd asked, pointing his shotgun and wandering the woods. Ugh, why did I have to be right?  I thought, trying to find a way out. "Thewe you awe! Do ya think you can fool me with your disguises again? Any last words, wabbit?" Elmer Fudd stuck his shotgun in my face.

"Good question, but first of all I'm not wearing a disguise." I told him. "Is dat so?" Elmer Fudd asked. "Psst." Bugs Bunny whispered from a hole in the ground behind me. "In here..." I quickly ducked into the hole in the ground before Elmer Fudd could say another word. "Um, thanks for getting me out of there." I said, once we had gotten far away from Elmer Fudd. "Eh, no problem." Bugs Bunny said taking a bite from a carrot. "Have to look out for fellow rabbits. What's your name?" "I'm Christy." I told him. "Hmm, I think we can teach that rabbit hunter a thing or two." Bugs Bunny told me. "Ooo, we'll need some backup." I said. "Let's gather up a whole gang and we'll definitely show him we mean business." "Eh, on second thought let's lose that rabbit hunter and find someplace where we can get to know each other better." Bugs Bunny said, "How do you like picnics?" "Mr. Sweet talker, huh?" I asked. "I'm sure a picnic wouldn't hurt. How do you like carrot cake?" "You can't go wrong with a good carrot cake. Do you make it often?" Bugs Bunny answered. "Mostly for special occasions..." I smiled. "And I believe saving me from the wrath of Elmer Fudd can be considered a special occasion."

"Say if you haven't been around here, how did you know his name?" Bugs Bunny asked. "Oh! I know your names, but I'll save the explanation for later." I answered. "Give me an hour and a half to prepare for the picnic?" "Yeah, you go and prepare." Bugs Bunny answered. "I know the perfect spot, so I'll pick you up later. Meanwhile, I'll have a little bit more fun trying to mess with Elmer Fudd over there." "Aw, you're going to mess with him without me?" I asked, disappointed. "You mean you were serious about that?" Bugs Bunny asked, "Well, I'm sure you can join me for a few minutes." "What about the carrot cake?" I asked. "Eh, that can wait. If taking down the rabbit hunter means that much to you; we should do it as a team." Bugs Bunny answered.

"Great! So what's the plan?" I asked.  "Should we pelt him with coconuts... or pretend we're his doctor and nurse and tell him he has two days to live... or have him chase us so he'll be confused about chasing two different rabbits... or maybe bring in Wile E. Coyote's acme collection and use that against Elmer Fudd?" "Here's what we'll do..." Bugs Bunny started and whispered the plan to me. "A family of rabbits?" I asked. "Eh, he already has a rough time trying to kill me off as it is. He can't resist this face. It would be kinda funny to see his face when there are more of us for him to deal with. Plus there is no way he'll have the heart to kill off a rabbit with a family." "You, my friend are a genius." I smiled. "I try." Bugs Bunny said, "Now, all we need is Tweety and a bunny costume." "Did somebody say my name?" Tweety asked, flying down to us. "Perfect, you are going to be our baby rabbit." Bugs Bunny asked. "Me?" Tweety asked.

We went to a costume store and told Tweety all about our plan. Once we found a bunny costume, we went back to the woods where we found Elmer Fudd. "Well, well, wook who's back." He said, "Have you come to suwwender yourself, wabbit?" "Nope, just came to take little Bugs on a walk with my sweetheart." Bugs Bunny answered, effortlessly. "Wittle Bugs?" Elmer Fudd asked nervously coming up to look at Tweety in the bunny costume. "Eh, what's up Doc?" Tweety said to him. "Oh, no!" Elmer Fudd exclaimed. "There's two of him now!" "Oh, I bet you regret sticking that rifle in my face now." I said to Elmer Fudd, "After all, if it wasn't for Bugs who saved me; who knows where I could've been." "Baby Bugs?" Elmer Fudd asked again in shock. "Ooo, I think we just broke the rabbit hunter." Bugs Bunny whispered to me. "I haven't seen him in this much shock." "I don't think I have much meaning anymore." Elmer Fudd said to himself, walking away, "How did I wet this happen?" Bugs and I laughed.
