Chapter 13: Girl Genius

I came to a new door that was red with a blue atom which could only be the world of Jimmy Neutron in the town of Retroville. "Ooo! My own personal lab!" I exclaimed, "Let's see if I can try making a remote control that can give you channels without using an antenna." "Arf, Arf!" My own robot dog came up to me. "Yay, I've got my own robot dog!" I exclaimed, "I'll name you, Jasmine." "Thank you, Christy Electron. I love the name, Jasmine." Jasmine said to me, "I will be your loyal companion."

"Now to see if this works." I said, pointing the remote to a screen when I finished creating the remote control. "What do you suggest we turn on?" "If it can put anything on, try one of your favorite shows... or movies..." Jasmine answered. "Got it!" I said, turning the remote on. "If you like we could try out your new rocket ship." Jasmine told me. "Actually that would be fun." I said, heading to the rocket with Jasmine. "Hold on tight!" "Where should we go to?" Jasmine asked. "Let's check out the Candy Bar." I answered. "Good choice! That is the most popular hangout spot, after all." Jasmine replied. "Ok, I can do this." I said steering the rocket ship until I landed by the candy bar. "Great landing, I wasn't worried for a second." Jasmine told me as we went inside.

"Hello! What would you suggest for a newcomer?" I asked Sam. "I've got just the thing." Sam answered. I gave him money from my pocket and took the bowl of ice cream. "Hmm, this is delicious." I said, taking a spoon full. "Thank you." "Finally, a polite customer." Sam said, getting back to work. "Who is she?" Jimmy asked, mouth hanging wide open. "Uh, Jimmy... I thought we don't like girls..." Carl interrupted. "I don't know, she is kind of cute... for a girl." Sheen said. "Ooo, look she's got a playmate for Goddard!" "Should we go up to her?" Carl asked. "We will, but we mustn't scare her away." Sheen answered as he and Carl went over to my table. "Hiii, I'm Carl and this is Sheen." Carl said. "And that's our friend Jimmy at the table over there. Don't mind his goofy expression, he liiikes you." "Carl, I said don't scare her away." Sheen told him. "Who's your friend?" "Oh, this is Jasmine." I answered. "And I'm Christy Electron." "You've got one of those Sciency names, you must be as smart as Jimmy." Carl said. "Scientific, yes I suppose." I answered. "But don't worry I'm not going to drone on about electrons having a negative charge, protons having a positive charge, and neutrons having no charge. You get enough of that in science classes. I assume what Jimmy is attracted to is the magnetism of an Electron, we can be quite electrifying if you're not careful." "So, do you have a cool lab too?" Sheen asked. "With cool inventions and stuff?" "Yes, as a matter of fact I do." I answered. "Ooo! You have got to show us!" Carl exclaimed. "Well, I am almost done with my ice cream sundae." I thought it over, "We can go as soon as you would like."

"Yes!" Sheen and Carl exclaimed. "Are you coming, Jimmy?" Sheen asked. "What!?" Jimmy asked. "Oh, no! I've um... got to take Goddard for a walk." "Lies!" Sheen called him out, dragging Jimmy to my booth. "You're coming with us!" "Ugh, why is Jimmy all googly eyed over that girl?" Cindy asked Libby. "She's nothing special." "Ooo! I wonder if she likes to jam!" Libby exclaimed. "Look how stylin' her robot dog is!" "Alright, I'm ready." I said, cleaning up. "I'll beat you guys to the rocket ship!" "She's even got her own rocket!" Sheen said, shaking Jimmy and ran outside. "It's pink." Jimmy said, when we all followed Sheen. "Do you have a problem with that?" I asked. "Who cares if it's pink!" Sheen exclaimed. "It's awesome! I want to take a ride in that one!" "No, way!" Carl told him. "I want to try this one!" "I got here first." Sheen reminded him, hopping into the back seat.

"Fine, but I want to ride next time." Carl told him, crawling into Jimmy's rocket. "Onward!" Sheen exclaimed, when I got in to the driver's seat. "I hope you'll be able to keep up, Jimmy." I smirked, "Don't want you to get lost." "Trust me, I won't." Jimmy answered. "Gotta Blast!" "Time for some tunes." I said, turning on the radio as we lift off. "Oh, I love this song!" Jasmine exclaimed, dancing. "Watch out for that tree!" Jimmy called. "Don't worry, I see it." I said, zipping around it as quick as possible. "Woo!" Sheen exclaimed, putting his hands up in the air when I zig zagged through every tree that came our way. "Shouldn't we ride higher?" Jimmy asked. "What's the fun in that, Jimmy?" Sheen answered. "You worry too much." "Oh, we can go higher." I said. "I just didn't want to miss our stop." "Now turning on detect lab mode..." Jasmine said as we rode straight up through the sky until we finally made it to my lab. "We are here." Jasmine covered the entrance so I can draw the secret password.
