I got to a blue door that had a design shaped like a smurf hat. I hesitated on going in which was something I hadn't normally done. I was thinking about what the chipmunk had told me about Simon being in love with me, then I thought about Schroeder and Barney Rubble. I knew I was so blinded by wanting to be in love that I couldn't tell what was really real. I knew that Barney Rubble was never meant to be. I know Schroeder is a possibility. But Simon, I couldn't describe what Simon was... I'm a human from another world, yet being a chipmunk for a day seemed incredible. (Well, except for getting chased by chihuahuas.) Once I just bumped into Simon, I melted, he was so much more cute when I met him up close. I realized I haven't seen The Great Gazoo since I was back in the Alvin and the Chipmunks world.

What I really can't understand was why the chipmunk came to me back when I was in the Powerpuff Girls adventure. What did he mean he was from the future? When I finally got enough nerve to go through the door, I hoped I wouldn't  have to deal with Gargamel. I had enough crime fighting for the day. I may not be low energized or anything, but I would rather enjoy spending a normal day of being a smurf than getting kidnapped. I would probably fit in best with the creative smurfs, but for now I just wanted to take a look around. I knew I wasn't going to blend in easily being the only smurf wearing pink, but I liked the look I was wearing. Everyone was going about their day singing "La, la, la la la la..." Wow, I thought, the mushroom houses are so cute. "Wait, who are you?" Handy asked me, stopping what he was doing. "Me?" I asked. "Umm, Christy." "You're not from around here." He told me.

Oh, no! I've been discovered! I thought. "Yeah, I was just looking around." I answered. "I love the mushroom houses." "Really? I built them myself." He told me. "I thought so, I see from your tools that you are Handy." I said. "Great work on them." "Oh, um... Thanks." He said. "So, what brings you to Smurf Village?" "Well..." I started, trying to think of an excuse for crashing their village. "I must've gotten lost. I am kind of new to the area, so I really don't know much about where I am." "Were you or are you in any way involved with Gargamel?" Grouchy asked me. "Eh, Gargamel... What is that like a cross between a Gargoyle and a camel?" I asked, pretending I haven't heard of him. They definitely can't know I'm from the future. "Ha, ha, That's a good one!" Jokey laughed. "Please, be more welcoming toward the girl." Papa Smurf told everyone. "Not every visitor is created by Gargamel." "Now, if you can direct me to the next town, I'll be on my way." I said. "Nonsense, you could stay here." Papa Smurf offered. "It's easy to learn how to be a smurf. Handy, I am putting you in charge of making... What's your name?" "Christy." I answered. "Right, make Christy Smurf feel at home here." Papa Smurf finished. "Me?" Handy asked. "How can I be of service?" "You could show her around, build her a place to live, show her the smurf berries, or tell her more about the Smurf Village." Papa Smurf suggested. "Also we've got to figure out her new smurf name."

"We could decide that later." Handy Smurf said. "First, I'll introduce you to our very own smurfs. There's Brainy Smurf, Vanity Smurf, and Hefty Smurf over there..." "Gosh, I hope I can remember all those names." I said. "What if I get some of them mixed up or something?" "You're new here, you won't be expected to take a test on everyone's name." Handy answered. "Besides, you'll have plenty of time to learn everybody's name. It won't be too hard though, you can tell what their names are by their personality or interests. Now, I'll show you where to find smurf berries. Those are there if you want a snack once in a while. Always share them with your fellow smurfs." "That will not be a problem." I told him, picking off a few berries and gave some to Handy Smurf. "Hmm, these are actually pretty good." "Thank you, now is there anything else I can tell you about Smurf Village?" Handy asked. "Yes, should I be worried about this Gargamel? If so what can I do to keep him away?" I answered. "It's usually a little bit difficult to keep him away since he always keeps coming back, but we smurfs will stick together and help if he gives you any trouble." Handy answered. "Meanwhile I recommend not going into the forest alone."
