The Mountains

Chapter 16

when el sees me, she walks over to me and pulls me into her arms.
"hey how you holding up kiddo" she says looking at me

"i'll be okay" i smile.

lou walks up and hugs me
"is that harrys shirt" he says noticing

i nod.

"are you two back together?" he asks confused

i shake my head and go sit down on the floor.

Harry slips into the kitchen area and grabs pancakes for el lou and me. He hands them theirs and gets to me.

"here you go" he says not making eye contact with me.

"i'm not hungry" i sigh softly

he makes eye contact
"you have to eat please eat" he begs me

i nod and thank him for the food.

He sits down with his plate and waits for me to take the first bite.

As i eat, he does too.

Soon we finish and harry gathers our plates.
"me and el have to run out to the market. if it gets bad we will take cover there if not i will be back in half an hour" lou tells me. i nod

i hear someone come sit beside me. i look over and see timothee
"hey" he says smiling
"hey timothee" i smile back.

We sit for a moment and watch tiktoks.

"how are you today?" he asks me. i notice harry looking at me.

"i'm doing okay i guess" i shrug.
he pulls me into his arms and comforts me.

i see harry glance at me and smile softly.

i get lost in his eyes for a second then i break my daze and the speaker announces that the hurricane won't be hitting us today.

We all head upstairs and i accidentally bump into harry as we reach the top step

"woah" he says laughing as i almost stumble. he supports me with his hands on my shoulders. he quickly moves his hands after i catch balance. i smile and walk to my room. i look back and see him staring as i walk down the hall beside timothee.

"want to watch movies back in my room?" timothee suggests. i nod and as i walk into his door i see harry swallow a lump in his throat and bite his cheek. Timothee shuts the door behind me and moves his bad off the bed

"there you go" he says showing me to sit.

i sit down and he sits beside me. He turns on the bye bye man. We lay close to each other and he slips his arm around my waist. suddenly i get a call.

*harry

my heart drops.

H-  hey- it's it's harry.. Me and el and lou were going to eat dinner in a few minutes. do you wanna maybe come? bring-bring timothee

i can tell it hurt him to say that but he's trying to do what's best for me.

y/n- yes. see you soon

"aww you gotta leave already?" timothee says making a pouty lip.

"you're invited toooo" i say and tell him about where we going to eat and who all is coming.

louis texts me

L- are you and timmy riding with us?

y/n- he said he could drive me and him

L- 👍🏻

me and timothee get out of bed and head out. When we arrive, everyone else is already here.  We sit at a table.
