Breaking the News

Erika POV:

I made Niall a disk with a slideshow and a letter at the end. It was hard to say those things in person, so I decided to type a letter and put it with the slideshow. I would be leaving in April, and Niall was the only one that knew.

At dinner, I was wondering if he had looked at the slideshow. He didn't talk to me at all, and when the other boys went to their rooms and I was about to go too, Niall grabbed my arm. I flinched, remembering how he had thrown the magazine at me. He lifted his hand and touched the cut from the magazine.

"I'm sorry about everything." he said and looked down. I couldn't say anything. "It's just..." I started, but couldn't finish because I was crying. Niall pulled me into a hug and I cried into his chest.

"The boys and I decided to take you to the amusement park tomorrow." Niall said and I looked at him. "Eleanor, Perrie, Nicole, and Becky are coming too." he said and I knew that Nicole was the girl that Harry danced with when we went dancing.

I nodded. "Please don't be mad at Becky." Niall said and I looked at him. "I was never mad at her. She's not the one to blame for this." I said and Niall nodded, looking a little guilty.

"I saw your disc." Niall said and I nodded. "You're leaving." he said and I nodded again.

"But I talked to my parents about it and I'm spending the summer with you guys, if that makes you feel any better." I said and he nodded.

"You need to talk to Liam about this. We share a room. I would go talk to him now." Niall said and hugged me again. I nodded and went to Liam and Niall's room. I knocked and Liam said "Come in."

I walk in and there he is, sitting on the bed. He had a batman shirt on and pants. I sit on the bed and start talking.

"I'm leaving in April." That was all I could say. Liam put the magazine he was reading down and sat up. "What do you mean?" he asked and I looked at his face. Latte came up onto the bed and curled up in between us. "Sim, Beazy and I are forming a dance group and we have to leave in April." I said and petted Latte's head. Liam put his hand on mine and lifted my chin up.

"I'm going to miss you." he said and I looked at his face. He really does look like a puppy. A few drops fell down my face and I nodded. "I'm going to miss you too." I said and wiped my tears. "I'll be seeing you guys in the summer though. My parents said I can spend the summer with you guys." I said and he hugged me.

"Do the boys know?" he asked me and I said, "Only Niall. I was planning on telling Harry now." Liam nodded and I hugged him. "Thanks for everything." I said and he laughed. "It's not even March yet." he said and I smiled. I pecked him on the lips and went into my room.

Harry and I did our sit ups and when we were done, I lay on top of his chest. "I have to tell you something." I said and he smiled. "What?" he asked and I swallowed. "I'm leaving in April. Sim, Beazy and I are making a dance group and I have to leave." I said and Harry's smile faded away.

He sat up, with me in his lap. "I'll see you guys in the summer, my parents said that I can spend the summer with you guys." I said and I saw tears fill up his eyes.

"Harry stop." I said and wiped his eyes with my sleeve and hugged him. "But, I'm going to miss you." he said and I hugged him tighter. This was so hard.

"I have to go tell Zayn and Louis about this." I said and got up. Harry nodded and said, "I'll be in bed." I nodded and walked out the door. Zayn was in the living room, on the couch.

"Zayn, I need to talk to you." I said and Zayn looked at me, concerned. "What happened?" he asked me and I sat next to him, in the crook of his arm.

"I'm leaving in April with Sim and Beazy because we're forming a dancing group. But my parents said I can spend the summer with you guys." I let out really quickly. Zayn hugged me. "I'l miss you. Did you tell the rest of the boys?" he asked me and I said, "I have to tell Louis. He's the only one I didn't tell."

Zayn and I hugged, sitting there for a while, then I got up and went into Louis' room.

"Princess!" Louis said and jumped up to hug me. I laughed and hugged him back. "I have some bad news." I said and he looked at me. "What?" he asked, energy in his eyes.

"I'm leaving in April because I'm going to form a dancing group with Sim and Beazy." I said and Lou frowned.

"I'll see you guys in the sumer though. My parents said I can spend summer with you." I said and Louis hugged me. "I'll miss you, Princess." I held onto him, tight.

"I'll miss you too, Carrothead." I said and he smiled. "You haven't called me that in a while." he said and I nodded.

I walked out and back into my room. Harry was already in bed, but awake.

I crawled into bed with him and pulled the covers over me. I cuddled into him and he hugged me. He was warm, and I fell asleep almost immediately.
