We smoked two joints before heading back to the pool.
"I can't believe today was the last time I get high with you," she chuckles. Did she just say that? I felt my high leave my body and pain shoot through me.
"What do you mean?" I ask her. "I'm leaving soon," she said. "Where to and when is soon?" I ask her.
"I'm going back to Cape Town and I'm leaving tomorrow morning," she said flatly. "You're lying," I laugh.
Her eyes locked with mine and I knew that she wasn't leaving. "No," I said through my teeth and swallowed a big lump.
"I wanted to tell you. I just didn't know how," she said. "You're fucking lying," I say and look away from her.
She pulls me closer to her but I push her away. "I'll be back," I say and walk away.
My vision blurred and I bump into someone. "I'm so so sorry," I say and look down to avoid eye contact.
"Hey hey hey, are you okay?" the person says. It's definitely a girl. Her skin was light and her lips full. They were covered in clear gloss exposing her natural light pink shade.
Her eyes were big and I felt like I was lost in them. She wore a short dark blue dress and gold heels.
"Babe," a voice called. She turned around and I watched her beautiful figure become smaller and smaller before disappearing completely.
                              *
I've been crying in the guest bathroom for so long now. I don't understand why I'm ever cryin- wait.
Wait a damn minute. I have feelings for this girl. I have feelings for Ntebatse. What the hell, Maya?
Okay okay, breathe. No no no. This makes no sense at all. I wasn't supposed to catch feelings for her at all.
A light knock hit the door. I wiped my tears and went to open it. It's the girl from earlier.
"Are you fine? You didn't answer me earlier when I asked you," she said. I motioned for her to enter and locked the door behind her.
"I think I like her," I say. "Who?" she questions. "The girl I came with today," I reply and she nods.
"What's wrong with liking her?" the anonymous girl said. "I already have feelings for so many people. It's conflicting," I say to her.
"Come here," she says with her arms open. I go to hug her and feel myself melt into her arms.
"Let me help you forget about her," she says and presses her lips against mine. Her tongue dances with mine and her hands cup my face.
Her hand moves to my pussy and she massages it though my dress. My dress straps fall and I lower my dress before slipping out of it.
Her eyes scan my body and a smirk grows on her face. She pins me against the cold wall and rubs me while kissing me. Holy fuck.
She pushes a finger into me and I rock my hips against her hand.
Seconds later, I released all over her and got dressed. She gave me a huge hickey on my neck and told me that her name was Mbali before we walked out of the restroom.
I went back to the pool area and searched for Ntebatse. "She left," Aaliyah said from behind me.
"She left?" I asked. "Yeah uhm... she just took an Uber," she told me. Why would she leave though?
"Tell Kesa that I say bye," I say and run up to my room to get my bag. Her clothes were gone. Wow, she really left.
I took the small suitcase and rushed to the front door. The lady gave me my keys and I walked to my car.
I put the bag in the suitcase in the boot and took my heels off. I slipped on flats that I always have in my boot and got into the car.
I called her number a million times while driving res and she didn't answer.
I felt my vision start to blur all over again. No no no. Not now, I'm almost there.
I looked into the rear-view mirror only to see a nineteen-year-old who just left a party to tell another girl how she feels.
The girl looking back at me had smeared eyeliner and her eyes were puffy and swollen.
A bright white light my eyes and a loud crashing sound followed.
