PoV: Fleetaway

Sonic was busy with a string as I started getting lunch ready. I had stolen four burgers from the city. I watched him for a bit, his fingers were still curled up to keep his hand acting like paws.

I wonder if I can do anything about that.

"Sonic, come here," I called him.

He came over to me with the string. I picked up his hand and slowly uncurled his fingers.

"Ow," Sonic bit down on my hand, it wasn't hard enough to break the skin, "Why are you biting me?"

He had tears stinging his eyes. I let his hand go as he started wincing. Having his hands curled up for who knows how long, it must have caused him pain when I uncurled his fingers.

I didn't really know what to do help him with that. Maybe a puzzle? He won't understand that. A toy might help him. One he can't chew on... Maybe that would work.

"Sonic come," I grabbed the bag to carry him, "We're gonna go rob a few spots."

"Aa~!" He got into the bag no problem and happily say inside. I made sure to put some snack in there with him. I took two of burgers with me to eat on the way.

"Let's go rob this place blind."

PoV: Sonic

  What... what is this?

"Sonic," Fleetaway said that word again. It was me... that word... it was me, "Come here."

  What is this thing?

"Give me your hand," he grabbed me and put the apple looking thing on me. It was cold! It didn't feel like an apple, it was all squishy... "Here, like this."

He was messing with my paw again. That hurts! I bit him.

"I know, it's okay. There we go," he had put the weird squishy thing into my paw.

What... It... it was like how he always holds things with his paw... It's just like his...

"You like that? Good. It's called a DNA ball," he picked up another one and crushed it. It went back to it's shape.

What is this? Its it alive?!

I pushed it down against the floor, it felt weird in my hand... it insides came out, but then it popped back into its shape.

"Play with these for a while, I'll give you another toy when you're bored," he walked away.

"Ee-aye!" I wanted help getting rid of this thing.

"Here," he lifted my paw and moved it with the thing he called a 'ball', "You squeeze it, like this. With your fingers."

My finger's... Fleetaway had his paw next to mine. They really did look the same.

So... why doesn't he walk on all his paws like me?
