Tony

I looked at Natasha and Bruce as they stood in my office. They both carried sad looks on their face.

The silence that stood around us was paralysing. No one dared to make a movement, not even a sight. Another wave of guilt flooded over me and my stomach dropped as I recounted what they had said.

If an only fork full of food caused such a celebration then how bad was he? And only a forkful of carrots not less which is about 85 to 95 percent water. That not enough to sustain him! Not enough at all!

I felt myself collapse back into my chair. Tears filled my eyes and threatened to fall behind my glasses and I strange feeling blossomed in my chest as I pictured the strong happy go, lucky kid that wanted to be the hero and save the world now weak and miserable, I pictured him down to skin and bones without a trace of the rosy cheeks that once spread across his face.

"Go..." I tried to say but it came out more like a whisper.

"Tony-" someone began to say before I cut them off.

"I said go!" My voice held more power this time, leaving no room for augments.

The two shadows in front of me moved slightly then disappeared as I started at the sleek white desk now blurred by saltwater in my eyes.

Once I heard the distinctive sound of the air compressor a sob let out of my lips and the flood gates opened as tears cascaded down my face.

Once I started I couldn't stop. This was my fault. I had broken this boy.

Peter

"Hey what movie do you wanna watch when I get back?" I asked over my shoulder at Wade who was currently sprawled out in the floor playing one man table tennis with the wall.

He looked over with a smile. "50 shades of grey!" I rolled my eyes harder than my grades hit rock bottom.

"No!" A nurse asserted from behind the main desk coursing Wane to let out a sarcastic sigh.

I continued to flick through the movies most where cartoons and Disney. It's like they think we have the mindset of children.

Just As I was about to give up I found one that caught my eye. An egg laid centre stage in a black background, a green light emitting from a corner of it. Across the top, the title read "ALIEN ". my hand stroked the cover as memories surged through me.

"Oh shuri.." I thought out loud.  We used to watch this all the time when I had my internship...

Now she hates you

I shook my head clearing my thoughts.

"Hey Wane!" I called back "Sit on this until I get back!" Holding up the DVD. He took it from me and then proceeded to guess what...  Sit on. That guy always makes me smile.

"Peter Parker?" I looked to where the voice had come from. Michael stood leaning against the door frame. "Your therapist would like to see you." I nodded my head.

Your therapist would always want to see you after anything "major" happens. Even if it's not your scheduled turn.

I let out a sigh as and made my way to their office.

The therapist's room was much like every other.  White bouncy walls, grey carpets, blue scratchy seats and a pile miscoloured cushions lay in the corner.
