Wade

He was lifeless.

His eyes were bland and his smile had gone.

He was gone.

Even though I had only seen him fall to the ground, caught by the male reporter, and lay there for a split second... I saw enough.

His chest wasn't moving and his head was lolled to the side.

I knew he was gone when I had been pulled away.

Michael immediately started to check him and pulled out his phone as one of the reporters started doing chest compressions

I had just got him... He was only now mine and now I'm going to lose him.

"Wade, it's time for your medication." A nurse stated softly.

I didn't react. I couldn't react.
I didn't want to react.
I was safe in my ball, curled up on the bed. The think blankets draped over the side.
.

I felt pressure on my arm as I was guided up into a sitting position. My eyes still trained on the blank wall.

"Come on Wade. Don't be like this." Her statement coursed anger to curse through my body.

"Dont be like this?!" I had just watched my boyfriend collapse and I shouldn't "be like this"!" My voice started rising with every word. I yanked my arm away from her as I took a step towards the door.

"He's fine wade!" She exclaimed. "I felt my expression turn cold as I slowly turned to look at her.

"Your medication Wade." She spat the word medication out. As if it wasn't her job to look after sick people.

"No." I spat back.

"Then I'll ha-" I cut her off.
"No, you don't" I took a step towards her. She seemed to freeze up. Her eyes flickered towards the door and then back to me. I smirked as I moved in front of the door. She seemed to forget an important rule.

Never let a patient get in the way of the door and you.

I took another step towards her.

And then another.
Until I was standing in front of her.

"Wade all you saw was-" "All I saw was a dead body." I cut her off and leaned into her ear.

"And I know exactly what that looks like," I whispered In her ear.

Suddenly a painful hand pulled me away.

I was shoved onto the floor and felt a prick in my arm.

Slowly everything fuzzed out into the darkness.

Tony

The clock ticked aimlessly, filling the room with sound. Natasha and Bruce had been gone longer than expected. They should have been back two hours ago.

I sighed and turned towards my computer. An older document displayed on my screen. It looked like a report on the functions on the nanobots in a controlled environment versus in an uncontrollable environment.

I felt a look of confusion cross my face...

I dont remember writing this.

I couldn't have written this, the hypothesis where unrealistic, the format was wrong and my god the spelling!

It would have been laughed out the publisher's office if I ever tried to get it published.

I scrolled down to the bottom.
