I took a deep breath before getting out of the car remembering that I am royal. I know how to fake it in front of diplomats and people that think they know more than me. To keep up appearances Maku opens up my door for me. I don't know what Jace and the rest of them had said but by the looks on his parents' faces I'm pretty sure that they know that I'm his mate. I had barely made it out of the car and his mother ran up and hugged me "welcome home dear my name is Amelia but everyone around here calls me Millie or Ma'm but you can call me whatever you want. Now I know that this is a big shock no one ever thinks that werewolves exist but they do and well my Jace will rule this pack one day and you'll be the most fabulous Luna I can tell already. Sorry am I rambling. I tend to do that when I'm excited and I am so very excited." I giggled a little and nodded. She seemed nice but my guard was still up.

Then the Alpha stepped forward; he was projecting power and I saw many dip their heads in respect. "Serena I am Alpha Night Jace's father welcome to the pack now I must express how important it is to keep our existence a secret no telling friends or other family members Jace will simply be introduced to your parents as your boyfriend no mention of mates or werewolves do you understand." I nodded he was kind of intimidating even to me and I found no one intimidating. "Dad calm down she won't tell anyone plus little miss Serena has a secret of her own don't you?" Mailia said while putting her arm around me I smile at her thankful for the break. "Yes Alpha Night I am Maku Eldoris Serena's guardian we have much to discuss and we would like to do so privately if possible." No way was I just gonna blurt out the secret in front of the whole pack just yet let's start with the Alpha then go from there. "Of course we can talk in my office if you would just follow me." As we followed Alpha NIght up the stairs and into his office I could feel the weight of what was about to happen in the pit of my stomach.

Jace grabbed my hand halfway up the stairs. I guess he could feel how nervous I was and it shocked me at how comforting this small gesture actually was I instantly felt better and I knew that he could tell because when I looked up he had a smile on his face I nudged him and that made him laugh. We walked down the corridor and into a door right at the end. The room was huge and by the window was a huge desk. We walked over to it and I sat down. Maku stood behind me just making sure if we needed to we could escape.
