"Excuse me?" snipped Ahsoka.
"You could at least dress nicely for dinner."
The Togruta stuck her bottom lip out in protest, glaring at the dress Padme held out for her.
"Look, it's not even that formal." said Padme. "Please, just this once."
Ahsoka sighed, snatching the soft fabric from Padme's hands.

Lux took a glob of gel in his hands, pushing back his hair. It was quite sweet, he supposed, the way Ahsoka mussed his hair, but it was slightly annoying to fix it.
Still, it sent a smile and a rosy blush to his face thinking of it. Orange hands mussing his hair softly, a smile spreading across her thick brown lips.
"You're not so bad. Not bad at all."
Once again, he had found himself fantasizing about that beautiful Jedi girl. Kark, she was so gorgeous. Lux certainly didn't expect Jedi to look like her.
He cut off his train of thought.
Jedi.
Could she....read his thoughts? Kriff, did she know the things he had thought of in the past few hours? His daydreams about her?
If she knew, then kriff, Lux might as well give up on getting to know her.

Lux sat alone at the table, awaiting the Jedi and the Senator.
He fidgeted anxiously, eyes darting to the hallway every few seconds. He wished desperately for a bit more time with Ahsoka, just to make a better impression.
Suddenly he heard whispers and nervous giggles coming from the hall.
"Come on, Ahsoka!"
"Just tell them I'm....meditating."
"It's just one dinner!"
Padme stumbled out into the doorway, tugging at an orange arm, the rest of Ahsoka hiding out of view.
"Oh, what's wrong, young one?" cooed Mina from the couch.
"She's whining about wearing a dress tonight." Padme answered for Ahsoka.
"No I'm not!" snipped Ahsoka. "I'm just not feeling well."
Padme raised a brow, crossing her arms.
A groan came from the other side of the wall. "Fine."
A shiver went down Lux's spine as she stepped into the light. In comparison, her combat gear didn't give him much to look at. The off-the-shoulder dress gave him a peek of her cleavage and beautiful breasts. The skirt stopped just above the knee, toned orange legs strutting toward him.
"Oh, you look so lovely." gushed Mina. "Doesn't she, Lux?"
He blushed profusely. "Oh." he squeaked. "Well....yes. You look lovely, Ahsoka."
A cheeky smirk spread across Padme's face. "Aww." she replied. "Well, I hope you two have fun while we're gone."
The teenagers jerked around, eyes widening. "While you're gone?" repeated Ahsoka.
Mina nodded. "Oh, yes." she replied. "Padme and I are going to dinner, you both will stay home."
A bright red blush spread across Lux's cheeks. Alone. For an entire evening. With the girl of his dreams.
This would either be the best or worst night of his life.

A/N: Back on the bullshit. Hehe how did you guys like this chapter. Tbh I think this book might just be pure fluff. That's it.
I always loved the idea of Padme playing the matchmaker. She knows what's happening between those two precious cinnamon rolls.
Been rewatching clone wars and Lux has me squealing with every word he says. My damn brother has told me to stop watching because he's sick of my obsession.
Love yall, will update soon.
