Chapter 9

Alice's POV

I woke up in Jordan's arms, snuggling in his chest. When Jordan said, "Well, hello sleepy head! Am I just the comfiest person to snuggle with?"

"Well, actually you're the second."

"Oh really? Who's the first?"

"Isaac."

Then I heard Isaacs laugh, I didn't realize he was across the room. He came over and sat next to Jordan and me and said, "I'm number one huh? That means a lot to me Alice, it really does."

Then Isaac put his arm around me, and leaned in and kissed my cheek!

I looked up at him and he was blushing like heck! Then I looked at Jordan, and he looked almost jealous...

There was a sudden loud knock on our front door downstairs, we heard Cierra yell, "ITS HIM!! IT'S ALICE'S DAD!!"

Bethany and Cierra were downstairs flipping out and we ran downstairs totally unprepared. Jordan said "I got it."

He opened the door and Tim (my dad) reached out and grabbed his shirt and held him up and said, "Where on the freaking earth is my freaking daughter!!"

"Uh, right here. But she lives with us now."

"No. I don't think so. I'm taking her back. You can't possibly care about her that much. Just let me have her and I won't hurt you or your family ok?"

"No. I happen to care about her a lot! And so does the rest of my family! She is staying with us!"

"Ok fine then!" My dad punched Jordan super hard in the face and gut!

It killed me to watch that. I couldn't let my dad do that to the other people I care about!

I had only one choice. I released myself from Isaacs hard grip around my waist, and ran to my dad yelling, " NO NO NO! DAD DON'T HURT THEM! HERE TAKE ME! JUST DON'T DON'T DON'T HURT THEM!"

My dad smiled and took me away...
