(Woo. 20! Didn't think I'd get this far.)Third Person Perspective

(Y/n) felt a warmth in her chest as she slowly opened her eyes. A sea of green, blue and pink filled her vision. She was looking at a garden. Pale fingers brushed through the leafs, the fingers cut up and veins visible. There was a gentle breeze, complimented with a hum of a familiar voice.
She couldn't help but smile, she knew that voice. It was her mother. The pale fingers plucked a flower out of the bush and the flower wilted. The voice of her mother giggled.
"My sweet daughter, I sense you are well." Her voice echoed in (Y/n) mind. The flower turned to ashes and the woman sighed. "I'm sorry I haven't been able to talk much; there was some trouble the other day."
"It's alright mama... I missed hearing your voice." (Y/n) responded.
"My sweet baby girl... I miss you every second of everyday. I miss your smile, I miss your hugs, I miss your goofy dances when you get happy... I miss everything. I miss your brother as well. Tell him that for me, won't you?"
"Of course."
"I must go... but I wanted to leave you with this view, and this warning." The smile you could once hear, left her voice. It was now a cautious frown.
"Warning?"
"There are things you will soon endure that will hurt you, even more than you've already been hurt. I want you to cherish this pain- for it is important."
"But—"
"Please (Y/n). I love you with all of my soul- with my entire being."
"...alright. I love you too mom... more than you'll ever know."
"Oh my love, I already do..."
The world went blank, a bright white void of nothingness. (Y/n) was left alone within the palace of her mind. She was quick to leave there though.
When she opened her eyes, she saw Splendor curled into her. Splendor has his head nuzzled against her neck. (Y/n) just smiled and pet his head. She turned and looked at the time. It was 3:25 am. Strange. They did lay down around 9 though, so it didn't entirely surprise her.
"Why are you awake (Y/n)?" Splendor grumbled into her neck. It felt weird, but she just ignored it.
"I just had a dream. Now I just want some water. I'm gonna go get some. Do you want a glass?" She offered, subconsciously mumbling.
"Sure..." He mumbled, removing himself from her gasp and cuddling a pillow. (Y/n) giggled, a small smile grew on Splendor's face. She got out of bed and went downstairs to get some water.
(Y/n) grabbed two glasses and began to fill them with water. She hummed to herself the tune her mother was humming to fill the silence of the kitchen. Once the glasses were 2/3s full, she then put some ice inside.
A noise made her flinch and look around. Some of the water splashed out and spilt on her. (Y/n) rolled her eyes annoyed, but just tried to ignore it. She then continued to make her way back upstairs. Just as she was about to make it back to her room, a figure in the corner of her eye caught her attention.
"Hello?" (Y/n) asked, figuring it was someone she knew by now. A shiny smile peaked out from the darkness. It scared her and she quickly entered her room.
(Y/n) took a deep breath and shook her head, hoping she was just imagining things. She took a sip of her water and handed, a sleepy Splendor, his.
