Chapter 5

"P.E na." I called Angela.

Umiling siya at ngumiti. "Hindi ako nag P-P.E," she said while holding a book in her hand.

I already know that. Angela's been skipping physical education kapag sports ang activity.

"Again?" Pangalawang week na ito ng volleyball session namin.

"Don't worry, our professor already knows I don't attend P.E." she smiled at me softly.

For awhile, I saw a little sadness in her eyes. I sighed and bid her goodbye while getting ready for the game.

Still a little bothered about Angela, I absent-mindedly entered the bathroom to change my clothes.

Without looking at the people inside, I changed my clothes into our Physical Education uniform. After changing my clothes, I headed to the sink to apply a lip balm and to check myself in the mirror.

"Well, if this isn't Asriel.." I heard a high pitched voice beside me.

As annoying as her voice can be, her face annoys me more. Ano bang gusto ng babaeng 'to?

I looked at Michelle and frowned.

"What do you want?"

She smirked. God, I want to ripped that smirk off of her face, or just slap her hard. Hard enough to destroy that face she's proud of.

I don't even know how she became this makapal ang mukha, she can't even look me in the eye before kapag gustong mangopya sa 'kin.

She even spread some rumors last week, that I didn't reject Kevin, and that Kevin is the one who dumped me, leaving me speechless for awhile.

And that guy, I frowned while remembering how disgusting he was.

They are both disgusting.

"Are you enjoying your life now? Or are you still miserable that—"

I yawned.

Nagsalubong ang kilay niya.

"Is that a dog? it's been barking a lot nowadays," I looked at my wristwatch. it's already time for P.E, I ignored her and left that smelly restroom full of her perfume.

I finally hardened my heart. Although I'm fond of Angela, I still have my trust issues. All because of what happened and how fucked up my life is.

I arrived at the gymnasium a little late, sumunod si Michelle na nakasimangot at halatang gusto na akong sabunutan.

Magkaklase kami sa Physical Education and I suddenly regret coming here. Sinamahan ko na lang sana si Angela dahil kalaban ng grupo ko ang grupo ni Michelle na halatang sineseryoso ang laro dahil sa akin niya lagi tinitira ang bola.

She's really getting into my nerves. This is not dodgeball!

Bumalik ako sa classroom nang nakasimangot. Angela smiled at me, may hawak pa rin na libro pero this time ay libro na namin sa Oral Comm.

"May quiz tayo ngayon, Asriel." One of our classmates approached us.

"Alam ko.." Umupo na ako sa pwesto ko.

"Nagreview ka?"

Tumango ako at inilapag ang ulo sa desk. Inaantok pa ako.

Nagising na lang ako nang dumating na ang prof namin.

Late siya ng five minutes kaya nagsimula na rin agad ang quiz despite of the complaints from my classmates.

It was a lot easier than I expected. Lumabas kami ng classroom at naririnig ko pa rin ang reklamo nila kung gaano kahirap ang quiz.
