False Direction - Dayglow
(Watch the video)
"Forty-five years..." He sighed. "That's a trip." Diego uttered and kneeled down in front of the door, staring through the glass. "No kidding." I mumbled and leaned against the glass door. "You know, when I was stuck out there in the apocalypse, there wasn't a day that went by where I didn't hear his voice in my head." Five hummed. "What was he saying?" I asked and stared at the cement ground, finding the one animal we slaughter mercilessly everyday without even caring, interesting for once.
"Ah, shit..." Diego muttered, also listening but still trying to pick the lock to the doors. " "I told you so." " Five sighed. I scoffed softly and cracked my knuckles. "Well, if your dad's here, he's never met you before, so he can't say "I told you so." I reminded and spared him a glance. He watched me draw in the cement with a small twig with careless effort. "I'm sure he'll find a way..." He mumbled. Diego sighed and stopped trying to pick the lock for a few seconds. "Are-are you being serious?" I asked.
He glanced at me and then the door. "What?" Diego asked. "Five..." I sighed and turned to him as I threw the stick across the grass. He smirked and warped into the building with no effort required whatsoever and unlocked it with ease. "Boom. Magic." I whispered sarcastically and Five held the door out for me. I walked inside and Diego nodded to himself. "Right." He muttered. "Gotta remember that..." He walked through the doors and cleared his throat, following me into the large building.
Five turned on a lamp light and walked towards us. The lamps glow dissolved and we stopped in our tracks to grumble. "Shit." We cursed. "So much for home decor..." Diego muttered. I punched a pillow and dust flew about. "Feels more like a front." I narrowed my eyes and glanced around. "A front for what?" He asked. "I don't know..." I mumbled. "Well, I'll take the left." Diego sighed. "Yell if you, uh...get in trouble." He shrugged and they both left through the doors that led to different places.
I stood in the dark room, alone and made a face of extreme disappointment at their stupidity. Five reopened the door to see me with a dead looking face. "Hey, c'mon." He whispered. I looked at him and scowled, following him. We walked down the narrow hallway full of doors and he attempted to open one. I smacked him upside the head and he hissed. "Hey!" He growled. "Don't be so careless you neanderthal!" I whisper-shouted.
"It was locked anyway!" He shouted back. He moved on to the next door and I noticed the nearly unnoticeable line in the middle of the door. I pushed the top half of the door open and Five turned on the light. It revealed to be mannequins sitting on a couch like humans with regular clothing on as a family. "What are you up to?" I whispered to myself and the light in the room turned off. We searched another room with the same premise as the other room with the creepy mannequins.
This time, we entered and looked through a folder on the desk inside. He grabbed a paper from inside the folder which read:

We crouched down and followed the continuous soft clattering of metal. We stopped at the small shadow of a creature. I narrowed my eyes and saw a small chimpanzee come out. It let out small gentle squeaks. "Hi, Pogo..." I smiled gently. He came closer and hooted quietly.
