I wake up to the sound of my doorbell , So sitting up I check my phone to see the time read 12 am . Sliding on my house shoes , I stand up and walk downstairs to see who was at the door . Opening the door I was greeted by soaking wet Kyrie .
"What are you doing here ?" I ask annoyed by her presence . I've been ignoring her for the last two weeks ever since the pregnancy situation .
"I'm sorry devin ." She says and I look into her eyes . I could tell something was hurting her but to ask if she was okay is no longer my duty but I can't just leave her outside in the rain . So , stepping aside I allow her to walk inside before I close and lock the door behind her .
Walking to the downstairs bathroom I grabbed a towel before walking into my laundry room and grabbing a t shirt for her .
"Here ." Is all say before giving her the stuff and walking into the kitchen to make some soup .
As I was waiting on the soup to be ready , Kyrie walks in the kitchen and takes a seat at the island .
"Devin I really am sorry ?" She says and I sarcastically laugh .
"Sorry for what ky ? Taking back the man who broke you or making me fall in love with you only for you to leave ?" I ask .
"Devin those weren't my intentions and I know that was stupid of me to do but I'm scared Devin . I don't wanna leave him alone only to get treated the same way by someone else ." She says and I shake my head .
"You think I would treat you like your nothing Kyrie ? I literally picked you up when you were down and was there when you needed someone the most and you still think I would do you how Kyle treats you ." I ask her .
"Devin I don't know what to think anymore okay ." She says .
"I know I do care for you and I know I'm sorry for hurting you ." She adds causing me to roll my eyes and smack my teeth .
"Whatever Kyrie . Why are you really here ?" I ask her .
"He wants me to get an abortion ." She says and I could tell she was about to cry .
"Wait so you really are pregnant ?" I ask her and she nods . I know it's possible the baby is mine because I didn't wear a condom but I'm sure Kyle didn't either so there's no telling.
"So what are you gonna do ?" I ask her .
"I don't know devin , everything just doesn't feel right anymore ." She tells me as tears threaten to spill from her eyes . I didn't like seeing her cry but that's no longer my place to make her feel good . She made the decision to be with him now she's gotta lay in the bed she's made .
"Your soup is almost done . If you get tired you can sleep in the guest room ." I tell her ignoring everything she just told me before turn down the stove eye and walking upstairs to my room . I don't like to be this way towards her but I can't lie and say her decision didn't hurt me because it did , I treated her with nothing but respect and as soon as Kyle came back and decided he was gonna act right she let him back in with a quickness but it is what it is now ..
