Me: I'm selling them

Ashton: no Maddie please don't. We don't even have to meet just come to the concert

Me: I don't have to meet you? Wasn't that the point of getting these for me

Ashton: no the point was to make you happy, you've always wanted to come to our concert

Me: who's the second one for?

Ashton: I was assuming you'd want to bring Henry

Me: yeah

Ashton: what about the flowers?

Me: they're beautiful, thank you

Ashton: I didn't know which kind you liked so I just got a ton haha

Me: I can tell lol, they're all over my room

Me: should I be worried that you somehow know my address? Hahaha

Ashton: :)

Ashton: I should've got you more

Me: no, you didn't have to get me anything at all Ashton

Ashton: yes I did

Me: no you didn't

Ashton: yes I did

Me: no you didn't lol

Ashton: I miss talking with you like this

Ashton: so what is your favorite flower? For future reference

Me: daisies, you got some of them :)

Ashton: awesome, I did something right

Me: what are you doing?

Ashton: absolutely nothing

Me: but it's New Year's Eve

Ashton: I know, I just don't want to do anything. What about you?

Me: I'm reading like the lame person I am. Even my parents are downtown, so embarrassing

Ashton: lol what did you do for your birthday?

Me: I went to a rave! :)

Ashton: aww I bet that was fun, I've always wanted to go to one

Me: it was so much fun!!! I was kind of nervous since I don't really dance a lot you know but it was so great

Ashton: :)

Me: hopefully you can go to one some day

Ashton: I hope so :)

Ashton: hey I just got a call from the florist, they're about to be at your house with more flowers. Sorry Maddie, I didn't know I got this much hahaha

Me: my room's gonna look like a garden!! thank you Ashton

Ashton: you're welcome Maddie

Me: my parents are gonna be so annoying when they see this

Ashton: why? Lol

Me: They're just gonna be like ASHTON SENT THESE AHHHH, they're like obsessed with you. Although my mom doesn't believe it's really you

Ashton: I like your dad, your mom seems sweet too

Me: I guess so

Ashton: Did you get anything else for your birthday?

Me: My parents took me out to dinner and I got books from Henry lol. That's about it

Ashton: well I hope it was great

Me: it wassss, my room smells amazing Ashton

Ashton: now you're never gonna leave hahaha

Me: I never do anyway soooo

Ashton: what else would you like for your birthday??

Me: Ashton seriously you've given me enough already lol

Ashton: but I want to give you more

Me: hmmm nothing comes to mind

Ashton: well tell me when you think of something

Me: you know I won't

Ashton: then I'll just keep sending you stuff

Me: it's a little creepy that you found my address Ashton lol

Ashton: I figured it'd be romantic

Me: idk but I'm about to go to sleep hahaha

Ashton: you can't go to sleep! The florist is about to be there plus you need to stay up until the new year begins!

Me: fine I'll stay up so I can get more pretty flowers that you shouldn't have got me, but then I'm going to bed. New Years Eve is only fun when you're with people

Ashton: I agree, is it really cold in Colorado?

Me: it's freezing, snow is EVERYWHRRE

I hear my doorbell ring and try to ignore it. I'm snuggled under all my covers and getting up is the last thing I want to do.

I was hoping maybe the florist would just think no one was home and leave the flowers on the porch. My parents could just pick them up when they come home tonight completely drunk.

But then the idiot rings the doorbell again. I groan and throw my covers off of me, slipping my feet into some fuzzy boots. The boots are huge and ugly, but they're comfortable so I wear them around my house.

I just reached the bottom of the stairs when I hear the doorbell go off again. A third fucking time. I'll be polite because that's how I was raised, but this guy needs to chill.

"I'm sorry!" I say politely as I open the door. The cold wind hits my face and I instinctively wrap my arms tightly around my body as I see the person in front of me.

"Hello, Maddie,"
