Thunderhorns
Description: Similar to Rainwings and their sister tribe, the Triple-Slashers, Thunderhorns have the ability to change the colour of their skin. They are known for their elaborate antler-like horns, metallic in colours like silver and sometimes gold (it depends on the metals they eat) that crackle with electricity when overwhelmed, angry or overexcited. A Thunderhorn has a flexible, sharp knife tail that can slice cleanly through a dragon like a knife against cold butter. Their eyes have a transparent eyelid similar to function as that of a Triple-Slasher. They can raise and lower their sails. Similar to Triple-Slashers, they have bioluminescent patches that contain bioluminescent bacteria that react under an electrical current. Thunderhorns also have electrical sacs across their entire body like Triple-Slashers (although Triple-Slashes have more powerful electrical sacs) which they use to produce electricity. They have webbed talons and parrot like hind-legs as well as transparent piqnofibres that have the same properties as a Triple-Slasher's coat. Their have four talons on their wings that they use to interact with their environment. They have gills. Their tail, horns and claws become more metallic as they age.

Abilities: Thunderhorns are known for being larger and bulkier Triple-Slashers, except with a singular sharp double sided knife tail and weaker electrical output, though they have a more effective  time at absorbing electricity.

Weaknesses: Due to their heavy tails and bulkier bodies, Thunderhorns aren't as accomplished in the air in comparison to Skywings and Triple-Slashers, being less agile and slower that their mountainous rivals while also being slower swimmers in comparison to the other aquatic dragons and weaker than Cavern Guards and Cavern Tunnellers  in strength, durability and firepower. Similar to Triple-Slashers, a Thunderhorn's piqnofibres are weak to fire, reducing their ability to channel and store electricity . When channeling electricity, certain areas of the Thunderhorn's body will light up with  electricity; the horns, spines, claws and tail, which when struck by blunt weapons or shots creates discharges that shock, stun or knock out the Thunderhorn and anyone near them. They have fast metabolism like Triple-Slashers. Their tails will dull thorough use and will have to be sharpened by sharpening it against whetstones or with the metallic scales of Cavern Guards or Cavern Tunneller.  Thunderhorns are also primarily nocturnal, so they mostly avoid bright lights, they sleep for most of the day, leaving them more vulnerable to sabotage and attacks from other dragons. They can "Overcharge" exactly like Triple-Slashers. If their spines of horns are broken, they lose a level of control over their electricity and causing random discharges when crackling with electricity. If their tail gets broken, there is no way to repair the broken tail.

Diet: The diets of Thunderhorns are spilt between the three groups of Thunderhorns; Coral, Valley and Vernican, though they are all omnivorous with a fondness of meat. Coral Thunderhorns primarily feed in and around coral reefs and   kelp forests where they dine on fish, shellfish, cephalopods, urchins and their favourites; poisonous sea slugs, anemones and bobbit worms. Valley Thunderhorns live around mountains and valleys where they feed on the forest animals there while substituting it with fruits and roots. Vernican Thunderhorns feed primarily on a variety of dragons; Osprey-Talons, "Tarwings", Wind-Riders and Whirlpoolers, and a myriad of animals; primarily poisonous and venomous ones.

Social structure: Thunderhorns form groups of 3 to 15 that are lead by the strongest and wisest female. In comparison to Triple-Slashers, Thunderhorns are  less social, being more hostile to other tribes, though they will still alliances with others. Occasionally, young females and males will leave or be kicked out where they form or join other flocks.

Lifecycle: An egg of a Thunderhorn takes up to a year before hatching where the dragonet starts off like newborn Triple-Slashers; bone-white, no electricity, limited venom, no poison and no bioluminescent sac. They are raised by their parents and flock till they reach 50 years of age, when they are considered to be adults at which point they are responsible to help raise other dragonets and support the flock.

Relations with other tribes: Thunderhorns are considered to be more picky, self-centred and less untrustworthy than Triple-Slashers, which affect how others see a Thunderhorn.

Valley Thunderhorns are known to ally with Cavern Guards( Although this primarily occurs when Cavern  Guards don't have access to Triple-Slashers or need a nocturnal helper), Cavern Tunnellers (Same reasons as with Cavern Guards), Skywings (some Skywings will work with Thunderhorns to combat Triple-Slashers and Camo-Assassins for space), Camo-Assassins (Some murders of Camo-Assassins will ally with Thunderhorns for protection from Death Serpents, Skywings and Cavern Tunnellers) and on the rare occasion; Mountainous Triple-Slashers (Though they are mostly rivals, fighting over shelter and resources, some Thunderhorns get accepted by Triple-Slasher flocks where they join forces to protect the flock and their allies.)

Coral Thunderhorns are known to ally with Seawing (Seawings work together with Thunderhorns to hunt large schools of fish by surrounding and electrifying the school, the Thunderhorns benefit from receiving protection and help with hunting due to the Seawing's superior swimming ability), Leviothougans (Thunderhorns will use Leviothougan pods to travel through the open ocean for protection and food. Leviothougans rely on Thunderhorns for hunting fast moving fast moving prey while Thunderhorns rely on Leviothougans for hunting the large schools of fish), Trenchwing (Trades shallow water resources for resources in the deep sea) and Northern Polar Impalers ( Polar Impalers and Thunderhorns have been known to work together to collect food during summer for the cold winter). Whirlpoolers are known for fearing Coral Thunderhorns who hunt Whirlpoolers that enter into the waters near the continents.

Vernican Thunderhorns are one of three dominant tribes of the continent, having formed their tribe before most other tribes, in Vernica, besides the other dominant tribe; The Boomscales(They have a good relation with Vernican Thunderhorns) and Pinewings(Though Pinewings fear Thunderhorns like they are the devil). Nearly all Vernican tribes hold a deep fear and respect for the Thunderhorns who had claimed large parts of the continent. Vernican Thunderhorns are allied to Osprey-talons(forcefully), Nekas, Boomscales, Stonewing (Forceful), Trick-Eyes, Wind-Riders, Vernican Cavern Tunnellers and Trenchwings. Though they are enemies of Pinewings, Fox-Tails and Tarwings.

Sub-classes: There are three groups of Thunderhorns; Valley Thunderhorns who live in Pyrrhia's Rainforest, mountains and valleys and have larger wings, smaller gills and longer, broader tails than the other sub-classes and have been known to follow thunderstorms, using them when hunting for prey. Coral Thunderstorms have the largest sails, gills and webbed talons. With a more streamline tail and smaller wings, they are known to set ambushes in reefs and kelp forests. Vernican Thunderhorns are the largest of the three and are average in all aspects but their horns and claws which are larger.

Sister tribes: Triple-Slashers are the closest relatives of The Thunderhorn tribe, being direct sister tribes with the primarily differences being their tail/s, claws and horns. It is believed that they shared an ancestor related to Rainwings. It is also believed that They are related to Skywing, through the rumour that Rainwings were descendants from Skywings that settled in the Rainforest.
