I know a place
That's far away
Where we can go
But never stay
A place that's warm
It's safe and sound
Where everything
That's lost is found

I know a place
Where you and me
And they and us
Become a we
A place that's full
Of love and hope
And never matched
Around the globe

I know a place
Beneath the sun
But not on earth
Where all is one
A place I go
When I can't stay
I know a dream
That's far away

There is no place where we are safe
We fall asleep in early graves
I know a place that's in my mind
That no abuse will ever find
But that is not how it should go
I know a place I'll never know
