The road that leads to anywhere
Through ruins tall and wastelands bare
Through stories told and tales unheard
Where silence is an empty word
The road that leads and follows none
And certain things get never done
A road composed of promised lands
A path of ears and eyes and hands
The road that never once divides
That takes a nothing-toll and guides
On jet-black ash, on whitest stone
You walk away and walk alone
The road not taken, never found
In human dreams, on solid ground
You never are but always were
A road that leads to anywhere
