DUA (Complete)

chapter 7

DUA's P.O.V

Rushing inside the house and locking all the doors behind her, she slumped on her bed trying hard to control her tears and to normalize her heart beat.

"What was that? How dare he just barge in the house, with what intentions only God knows ."  Her head was spinning and she was having signs of anxiety attack yet again after so many days and that was freaking her out even more.

She was alone at home and thats what freaked her out more, the scenes of older days just played in front of her eyes.just like this, she had been home alone some freaking years back and all that happened back then was enough to traumatize her forever and yet this guy just barged in.

Closing her eyes shut, the scary nightmare revolved in front of her eyes, screaming and crying she was trying to save herself from that wolf of a man . She couldent beleive her eyes and ears that her very close cousin who she called bhai!  could actually do anything of that sort to her! The very same cousin who was like a brother to her and her parents trusted him so much. She was feeling vulnerable trying to free herself from his cruel hold, begging for mercy but all in vain, that human turned monster had ruined her dignity, crushed her soul in mere minutes and left her in a vulnerable state for life.

The sudden knock on the door brought dua out of her miserable thoughts, wiping her tears she rushed to the door to open it , she was well aware of the way fahad knocked. Opening the door she hugged fahad tight suppressing her sobs ,fahad had very well understood that she had another anxiety attack, leaving her alone was always a bad idea. Dropping all his shopping bags near the door he engulfed her in a hug patting her head he  brought her inside holding her.

"Its going to be okay princess! Come on relax , i am here na!" Fahad said suppressing his tears and brought her tablets with water to take, to calm her down before her parents returned because seeing her in this condition would always tear them apart.  Taking the tablet she somewhat calmed down. From a month or so she had become way better than before, she had not seen any nightmare or had any anxiety attack and her family was getting relieved but today fahad was worried again.

"What happened? Why did you get scared?" FAhad asked concerned

"Nothing in particular, I was sitting in the lawn and that neighbout boy came in and I freaked out.." 
Relaxing somewhat she told him as she never hid
anything from him thats the kind of bond they had.

"Did he say or do something ?" Fahad questioned ,rage building in him.

"No!, he must have come to ask for something but I just got scared,  Infact I must have frieghtened him by my expressions, I dont know what overcame me ,maybe because i was alone, I just ran inside." She said.

"Hmm, I see! Dua you are a brave and strong girl,try to face the world, never show others your weakness darling and come on cheerup ,all is well okay." Patting her head and tieing her messy hair into a ponytail fahad soothed her.

"I want to face the world fahad, I want to enjoy , relax, stay calm but I am miserble. " she broke down again and fahad hugged her tight trying to take away her pain.
It was always very painful seeing his sister in such pain, he always wanted to go and kill the bastard who had ruined his sister in and out. It always raged him that he couldent do anything for her.
That bastard who had ruined her life was behind bars but he was not granted a death penalty and that triggered fahad the most, his parents were their uncle and aunt and they always kept begging for forgiveness, but fahad had always turned into a tiger for this matter, his parents might have left their homeland and shifted to UK but fahad was always going back to pakistan for all his trials in court to make sure hashim,their cousin who had turned into an animal to never get bailed from jail.
But he never disclosed all this infront of dua because he never wanted to pain her by mentioning that guy or   that event in front of her but when he had met her psychiatrist anne last week she had advised him to talk to dua openly about this matter, tell her that the guy was prisoned but fahad was not ready yet, he wanted hashim to face severe consiquences so that many people could learn a lesson and stop ruining innocent lives.

With the medicines dua had slept peacefully and actually overslept, when her parents and safa returned and asked about her fahad told them to not wake her up as she was tired and slept a while ago.
As for only fahad knew what a wreck she had been, she cried and yes he cried along with her, trying to ease her pain and trying to make her take it all out.

"Fahad ,I will be strong, I will not fear people, atleast I will try, I have rights to love and enjoy my life, I cant live in misery, it was not my fault, I was the victim fahad and I have suffered enough, I am sorry I worry you all! But now I will try to overcome all my fears and face the world bravely!" Wiping her tears she had said with a broad smile at the end after listening to her amazing brothers amazing advices... and he patted her head saying he was proud of her.

She had slept contended and peacefully after a storm of tears ,her mind and heart were now crystal clear.
And yes she had to pay anne a visit too very soon she thought for some more encouraging and positive advice.
