The sound of reporters and other pro heroes talking flooded my ears as I entered into the stadium like building where the Hero Billboard is being held.
This same event happens every year, the top 100 heroes are invited to attend to personally see which rank they have received at the end of the year. The top 10 are called up on stage to give a speech and only the top 3 are aware of their ranks beforehand.
I was ranked at number 39 last year, little did I know I was watching All Might gain the top rank for the last time. I'm hoping I rank up this year and not down, it's happened to me before and it sucks, especially when it feels like you've done better. I'm currently sitting in my seat as the announcer calls up Yoroi Musha as the number 9 hero. I'm not surprised, he was top 10 last year. But what she said next couldn't have shocked me more.
"And at number 8 we have the lantern hero, (h/n)!"
