Chapter 19: Second Date Part 1

Rumi pov
7:46 a.m

  I woke up with my entire body being extremely sore. My left thigh and head hurt a bit and I noticed that my wounds had been healed. Huh......that's strange. What's even stranger is that I'm lying down in a hospital bed, but when I looked out the window I saw a bunch of students walking around, is....is this U.A?

My head turned towards the sudden sound of a door being open and seeing a small old woman enter.

Recovery Girl: "Miss Miruko! It's good to see you awake. How are you feeling?"

Rumi: "Hey Recovery Girl...I'm tired but good."

Recovery Girl: "Well that's swell, I've completely healed your injuries but I suggest taking a small break from hero work, your loss of stamina would make you preform poorly and would only be needlessly dangerous.

Rumi: "Thanks doc, am I free to go?"

Recovery Girl: "Of course dear, and your boyfriend is waiting for you outside."

Rumi: "Yeah...uh..." I quickly left the room.

Y/n was leaning against the wall when he noticed me. He then leaped towards me and kissed me, his arms wrapping around me. The kiss was deep and I couldn't help but want more, but he broke away and said,

Y/n: "Rumi I'm so glad you're ok, I wanted to bring to a hospital but U.A was closer and if you died I-"

Rumi: "Hey, I'm OK, you saved my life and I'm grateful beyond words."I then pecked him on the lips

Rumi: I'm guessing Rook is..."

Y/n: "Dead..." he said solemnly

I could tell that even if Rook was a scumbag, y/n still felt guilty killing someone.

Rumi: "Hey, you wanna come with me to my place? I have to change out of my costume and I kind of just want us to hang out."

Y/n: "Sure, that sounds nice."

He then picked me up bridal style and flew out of the building. I let out a small squeal which made him chuckle.

Y/n: "Hey babe, I have no idea where you live. You uh, mind giving me directions?"

Rumi: "Slow down first!" I said with a nervous tone. I do not do good with heights.

Y/n: "Alright Alright." He said chuckling. He kissed my forehead as he slowed down his flight speed.

Rumi: "Thanks babe." I then started giving him directions to my apartment.
