Chapter 17: Beware my Power...

11:25 p.m

  After I immobilized the other pro, Miruko started charging towards me. I created spiked shards of stone and hurled them at her. Her speed caught me off guard as shes was able to duck and weave under my shards. She got within a 2 meters of me and went for an upwards flip kick, I was able to back step it and hit her in the stomach with a large boulder. I've fought plenty of close range power types like her. They think if they can close the distance between us then it'll give them an advantage, however, I'm quite proficient in close quarters.

  I then started to surround my self in a stone like armor to give myself extra defense and offense. Miruko came charging towards me again but this time she slid under me and did a double flip kick to my back which cracked my armor. She then drop kick me and held me in a choke hold with legs. To free my self I summoned a stone shard and drove it into her thigh. She yelled in pain and release her grip, which allowed me to elbow her in the nose. She stumbled back and held her nose briefly, wiping away the blood that was coming from it. I then made a mace and charged towards her. She jumped over me and went for a kick but I grabbed her leg mid swing and slammed her into the ground. I then wen to slam my mace down on her but she rolled away and kicked me in the side of the head. I was dazed for a moment which let her unleash a flurry of punches and kicks on me. My armor was nearly broken and I couldn't fight back. That's when I decide to eject my armor off of my body. This confused Miruko and allowed me to escape her brutal assault. She tried to go for a knee attack but I side stepped and hit swung my mace full force to the back of her head. The impact caused her to hit the ground hard. She was either unconscious or dead, the blood coming from her head made it hard to tell. As I was winding up for a final killing blow I heard the sound of stone cracking and muffled screaming. I turned my head and saw that the concrete shell I made to keep H/n contained was nearly destroyed, from the inside.
