The plane flight to London, was brutal.
I sat next to Luke, (after lots of protesting) and felt really guilty.
Why? Oh nothing, its just seeing Luke stare at me and then when I try to look at him he quickly looks away.
Or the pained expression whenever I try to apologize.
"Luke, I'm really sorry for monday."
His head snapped up, his expression mixed with lots of feelings.
He looked sad, angry, relieved, and most of all, pained.
"O-okay." Luke stuttered out.
"So are we good?"
"I-i don't know.."
"Oh."
"Its not that, its just that-"
"Sirs do you want anything to drink?" A flight attendant flutters her eyelashes at Luke.
"We'll have water." I mutter, already feeling discarded.
I sighed, looking at the bright cerulean floor. were standing in the hotel halls, right in front of our rooms. Ashton had the list of who we were going to stay with.
"Luke, Calum you're going to stay in 19B-" Ashton directed, getting my attention.
"No!" Luke and I yell in union.
"Too bad." Michael scowls, crossing his arms.
"And Michael and I will be staying in 19A, so you can talk to us." Ashton finished.
I mumbled profanities to Michael and Ashton, picking up my suitcases.
I opened the door to the hotel room.
One bed.
"Aw, fuck." I mumbled.
Luke had an unreadable expression on his face, but he just put his bags in a corner.
"I'll take the couch." I huff, knowing Michael probably set this up.
"Uh, there's no couch." Luke pointed out.
"Then I'll sleep on the floor."
"We don't have extra blankets or pillows..."
I sighed, jumping on the bed.
"Then I guess we're sleeping together." Luke's blue eyes widened, suddenly looking really tiny. "Like as in, sleep in the same bed." I stuttered out, silently cursing myself. Luke fake smiles, crushing some of my heart too.
"I'm going to bed, how about you?" Luke asks, changing the subject. I shake my head, sinking my teeth into my bottom lip.
"Yeah, no I'm gonna take a shower..." Trying not to imply too much, I dash into the bathroom, my phone in my hand.
Music blared through my speakers, Guts by All Time Low. I start the hotel shower, and sighed. I miss when Luke and I still were thirteen, when his soft lips landed on mine in the oak tree in his backyard. I miss when we'd text until the sun rose, even though we live right next to each other.
A shiver ran down my spine as I remember that night in my bed, with his hands on my back, and his hot sticky breath fanning my ear, in the Australian summer heat.
Suddenly, I'm sporting a semi, trying to think of everything but Luke in his boxers, screaming my name.
yeah hi!
im re-editing everything in this shitty book lmao
