Megan's kidnapper glanced over at her as he drove down the dark highway. She was still asleep, giving little murmurs as her body tossed and turned. Was she dreaming? Was she dreaming about him? A flash of headlights from an oncoming car lit up the silver chain holding her against the car door. He gave it a quick shake. They were firm, but not tight. If she didn't struggle, she shouldn't hurt herself. Not that he cared. The more she fought, the more she would realize that this time she wasn't going to get away. It would be a valuable lesson for her to learn. Smiling, he drove on.
