Dragon Story Chapter Ten: The First Day of School

At 6 o'clock in the morning, an alarm went off. Rin's eyes opened a bit looking at his alarm with a tired face as per normal, he doesn't like waking up early.

Rin turned off his alarm and rolled on his back letting out a yawn, "Ah fuck.." he said tiredly.

He walked to the kitchen in his uniform with his sword letting out a yawn.

"Good morning Rin!" Sky said fully awake. She didn't have her school uniform on because she hasn't got it mailed to the dorm home, so she wore her casual black tank top, shorts, and knee boots.

Rin jumped a bit, "Jesus!" He said. Then he let out a sigh of relief with a smile, "Jeez Sky I didn't think you would be ready already."

"Well I woke up about two hours ago cause of my excitement to finally go to school, couldn't fall back to sleep. Since then I've gotten my room together and I've been waiting for you." Sky said smiling. "Yukio left already."

"I kinda figure that." Rin said sitting to the right of Sky where there was food, "Wait, you're excited to go to school?" He asked as he started eating.

"Yeah! I've never been to an actual school before." Sky stated.

"Oh yeah you did tell me that" Rin said, "How did you learn...anything?" He asked.

"Well as far as my fire magic by my dragon Athena, my requip magic by Nina, and anything else I learned on my own at my local library." Sky said.

"You learned fire magic from a dragon?!" Rin asked in shock.

"Yup! It's where all dragon slayers learn their magic. My dragon was a dragon my father owned in secret." Sky said stopping there not wanting to go into more detail about her dad.

"That's so cool!...wait don't you only go to the cram school? That means you don't have to go until noon." Rin said wiping his mouth eating.

"I kinda want to take a tour around the school while you're out learning academics." Sky said.

"Understandable, here put your number in my phone." Rin said pulling out his phone, "That way if you ever need me just shoot me a text." He said then put his tray out in the kitchen.

Sky kinda blushed, but put her phone number in Rin's phone. When Rin got in the kitchen, another full tray of food was out in the kitchen. Rin put two and two together, Sky didn't eat.

"Hey uh aren't you gonna eat?" Rin asked turning to Sky as she hopped off the table.

Sky rubbed the back of her head, "I hardly eat.." She said.

"Really..?" He said getting concerned, "How come?" Rin asked.

Sky gave him a smile, "I kinda just..don't" Sky said softly, "Now come on, we are gonna be late." Sky said walking away.

Rin got a concerned look on his face, "Yeah..I'm coming." He said following after her.

Both Rin and Sky walked to school together. Rin had never seen some one more excited to go to school then her. When they got there, Rin and Sky agreed that they would keep in contact, then they went their separate ways. Since they separated, all Rin could think about was Sky's safety.

How come she didn't eat...

Is she ok?

Rin made sure to keep his phone close to him. Even though they can't be on their phones during class, after they do get their work done, their teacher lets them on their phones as long as they didn't distract anyone. When it comes to academics, Rin gets more experience on the battle field. Hence, Rin doesn't do well sitting on a desk, but he has been trying recently. He payed attention today, got his work done, and turned it in. Rin looked at the time, he had about two hours until it was lunch time, then it was the cram school.
