CHAPTER-7

Celeste ran and ran until she came out of the Forrest and found beautiful green lush land wherever her eyes wandered.

She stopped to catch her breath and slowly took in deep breaths so that she could continue her search for a place to stay without taking more stops.

"Who are you miss?"

A lady asked and Celeste's head snapped at her direction.

A lady along with a girl, dressed in what looked like evening gown and a floral hat saving her from the sun light stood staring at her

"oh I'm just a lost person in need of a place to stay! I don't even know how to explain... It may sound ridiculous."

She cried with a sad smile and the girl who accompanied the lady had an amused expression on her face

"please miss tell me! I love hearing long and adventurous stories!"

She exclaimed and the lady just glared at the girl

" Margaret this is no time for stories! If you don't mind miss, you may stay with us for a while until we help you find a suitable place to stay. You look exhausted for continuing your search.. "

The kind lady suggested and Celeste smiled at her

"oh no sweet lady and girl, do not fret! I will find some other place to stay."

Celeste tried her best to sound formal and the girl pulled the lady's dress

"well, Margaret would really like if you'd come for a while, I figure that it is probably for knowing about your adventure but I do insist on staying the night at our cottage."

The lady once again asked and this time Celeste noticed the girl named Margaret staring her with pleading eyes

" I wish I could pay you for your kindness miss but I'm not sure if I can right now-"

"you can pay back by telling me stories and playing with me! My sisters don't run fast enough to catch me and that always makes me win. It would be good to have a new friend and someone who runs as fast as you!"

Margaret interrupted her with her idea and the lady chuckled beside her

"I think that solves your problems Miss. Now come, walk with us as we were heading to our cottage anyways."

Saying that, Margaret and the lady grabbed Celeste's each hand and made her walk with them to their cottage.

They soon reached outside a beautiful little white cottage and by that time Celeste got to know the Lady's name and about her family's sudden shift to this area.

She felt bad that she was now going to become a burden for such lovely ladies but in her mind she made a promise to help them and be less of a burden for how ever long she was to stay

"I was wondering where you were Marie- oh hello there miss. I seem to have not noticed you beside my troublesome sisters"

a lady softly welcomed her as she opened the door to her and Marianne dragged her inside slowly as Celeste hesitated entering

"I see that you two have made a friend here, not going to introduce to us?"

The older lady asked and Margaret went and hugged her with a grin

"she is our new friend, Celeste Crown is her name. She is half Greek- Half English Elinor!"

Marianne introduced her to the elder sister and she smiled at the new lady

"I see now what peeked you interest in befriending her. I Welcome you, miss Crown to our little cottage."

Elinor warmly welcomed her and Celeste bowed as she kept on thanking them.
