The ladies greeted the two and followed them inside for lunch.

Marianne made Celeste sit in between of her and Margaret as she wanted her to stay close to her

"I'll try not to argue Marianne but these two sound like they are in terrible need of a lecture."

Celeste whispered with a fake smile as the two hosts continued making lame jokes

"I understand Celeste, that is something even I try not to do."

Marianne replied and they both smiled at each other

"so miss Marianne, you have yet not introduced us to your lovely friend there."

Lady Jennings suddenly asked out of all the chattering and Marianne looked up from her plate

"this is Celeste Crown, a friend who is here from Greece for a while. She is staying with me as I am her only friend here."

Marianne made up the lie and sir John along with lady Jenny gasped

"my my! All the way from Greece! How are the Greek gods doing? And who is the one you favour the most out of them? Personally, I find Aphrodite charming!"

sir John exclaimed and that made Celeste cringe inwardly

"Persephone is the one I find alluring."

Celeste plainly muttered in hopes of stopping this topic as she only knew the story through some web toon comic she read in her teens and had bits of memory only about the story

"oh sir John do you mind if we play the piano?"

Marianne suddenly asked, standing abruptly making sir John and lady Jennings gawk at her

"sure miss Marianne, you may."

Sir Jennings said with a fake smile and they all stood up to go into the room where the piano was

"I definitely did not expect that but may I know who else will be playing other than you?"

Celeste whispered while they walked and Marianne smirked at her

"who else other than you?"

She replied and Celeste stopped with a perplexed face

"oh hell no Marianne! Godammit"

she muttered as Marianne dragged her inside

"it will be fine Celeste. You play anything just to keep this old fools busy. I am rather tired of hearing their stories, are you not?"
