Chapter 5. Where Are You My Sun?

Kongpob repeatedly dialled Arthit's number but no one answered. He rushed to their home to see if his sun was there but upon entering he could hear the phone ringing. He rushed to see Arthit but was disappointed when he saw the phone on top of the bed, his gear was gone, as well as his other personal things. But everything that Kongpob bought including the phone was all intact where it was kept.

Meanwhile, Arthit was in a small hotel sitting on the bed crying thinking what happened to their relationship.

Arthit's POV
The 7 year itch is really true, at exactly the 7th year we have to part ways. I have to be strong I know that we will eventually break up. Tomorrow I will go back to Khaoyai to start anew. I will let Kongpob be happy and keep the memories. Goodbye my Kong, I wish you happiness.

Arthit went back to his hometown where he agreed to stay with his family.  When he arrived he was warmly welcomed by his parents. He was greeted by his mom and asking him "Arthit baby what happened? Why did you suddenly want us to come home and decided to even work here in Khaoyai? Are you in trouble?" "Ma please, I am not yet ready to talk about it. I just need both your love right now." The he hugged his parents sobbing. His parents supported his decision and no longer asked.

In Bangkok, Kongpob has been looking for Arthit, he went to University friends including the hazers, he went to Ocean Electric. He even went to his former dorm and checked if he was there. It has been almost a month since Arthit left but Kongpob wasn't still aware where he has gone. Kongpob even tried to get a hold of Arthit's address in Bangkok but when he went there, he didn't see anyone. He decided that he will continue to monitor Arthit's house so he will have a clue as to where his sun might be.

Arthit's POV
It has been a month since I left for Bangkok, I missed Kongpob and I need to settle things there if I plan to move on and start all over here at Khaoyai. I also need to explain to my parent's why we suddenly transferred here.

Arthit emailed Ocean Electric to formally resign from his post. He also called Prem to settle his dorm. "Hey Prem this is Arthit, can you or Knot settle closing my dorm? I won't be going back to Bangkok anytime soon. And please don't tell Kongpob that I called you. I'll just settle here, and see you guys soon just give me time." Prem as a good friend no longer asked." Arthit just tell me if your ok, and I will do everything you ask." His friend assured him that he was ok.       "Arthit we're here for you, just call if you need me. But man take care we are worried especially Kongpob." Arthit was confused to hear that Kongpob was worried about him but decided to hold back his question.

When Arthit went inside their house he saw his mom looking at him confused and worried."My baby I don't mean to pry but who is Kongpob is he the reason why you are running away from Bangkok? Do you have any trouble with him?" Arthit asked his mom to sitdown and he started to explain. Who is Kongpob, how they met, how they fought with each other and finally fell in love. He also told his mom how long they have been together and that they are now on their 7th year.  He told how their journey as a couple was, what they have been through and finally he told his mom what she saw the night before their anniversary. "Mom Prem also told me that Kongpob was looking for me, maybe he wants to finalize everything and end our relationship because he wants someone else in his life. I just need sometime to heal  I will face him." "Oh baby you should have told me everything so we could have been there for you. Do you know that your dad went back to our home in Bangkok to have our house rented? He has left our contact details and address here in Khaoyai. But even if he finds you, your dad and I will be here." His mom tried calling his dad but his dad was already on his way back to Khaoyai.

"Mom how do you feel that I am in a male to male relation or should I say was." "My baby you are my only son, as much as I would want you to have a relationship that people will accept, I really cannot force you, if this is what you feel. We have always trusted your decision and judgement, that is why we allowed you to live your own life. We have never interfered with your choices whatever happens we will support you. The important thing is that you are happy, not stepping on anyone's shoes and not like seeing you like this."

Kongpob again went to Arthit's house in Bangkok, then he noticed the signage and immediately he took a picture of it. He tried knocking at the door but there was still no answer.  Kongpob returned to his office and he was consumed with work but still thinking of the number and address he decided to call.

Kongpob was waiting for someone to answer his call. "Hello, who is this?" Arthit's dad answered "Sir this is Kongpob? I got your number from your house, may I know if P'Arthit is there can I talk to him?" Arthit's dad was clueless of the situation shouted "Arthit there's someone on the phone looking for you. It might be urgent as it has been calling for several times."Arthit who heard the name motioned for his dad to tell Kong left."Oh Arthit went outside after he heard your name." Kongpob a little worried just asked for directions going to their home. Arthit's dad thinking he was also a friend easily gave directions to Kongpob.
