Chapter 32: Faith

~Two Days Later~

It was two days after the accident and Cameron and Nash apologized to me. I've been only having small talk and avoiding them most of the time. It was after school and I was at home. I have to go feed Faith today but I'm still grounded for ditching classes. I grabbed the gloves off my desk and put it in my bag. I went downstairs and put on my boots. "What do you think your doing?", Nash asked. I went to the kitchen and in the pantry. I grabbed the bird food I hid and put it in my bag.

"What are you doing?", Cameron asked and came in the kitchen. "It's for a friend", I said and walked out the kitchen. "Don't worry I'll be back in time to go to the orthodontist.", I said and smiled. I walked out the front door and to the woods. I walked down the street and went to the dead in and walked to the house.

I pulled out my phone and called Dylan. "Hello?" "Hey Dylan I'm going to feed Faith and that's all and then I'm going to get my braces taking off", I told him. "Cool and by the way I fed her last night for you", he said. "Thanks that's very sweet, see you tomorrow at school?" "See you tomorrow at school bye Iz", he said and hung up. I walked into the house and closed the door behind me.

I walked to Faith's cage. "Hey sweetie", I said smiling. She hawked at me. I put on the long gloves. I opened the cage and she hopped on my arm. "How's your wing?", I asked. "Well I got some food for ya", I said putting her back on her stand in the cage. I put the food in the small bowl and put it in her bowl. I put some water in there too and then I shut the cage. I walked back out the house and started running back to the house.

When I got to the house I went upstairs and to my room. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. I did my makeup and did my hair. Then I walked in my room with my robe and walked to my closet. I put on deodorant and lotion. Then picked out a floral loose shirt and some jeans with brown boots. I went downstairs where Cameron was taking me. We walked to the car and I got in the passengers seat. Then we started driving to the dentist office.
