~Three Weeks Later~
Lexi and the crew came back from the competition. They lost but it was fine. Hayes hasn't gotten any better. He has a drinking problem. Last night luckily no one was home, he came here drunk. He's been out partying so much he's forgotten about his football team and got kicked off. It is now Christmas break and he's doing it again. Nobody knows about his problem except for me and his friends.
It was now Saturday and everyone was arguing downstairs. I went down there and Carter and Matt were fighting over the tv remote. Cameron and Chloe were arguing. Nash and Taylor were arguing about clothes and everyone else wasn't there.
Enough is enough. I went upstairs and packed a bag enough for a week. I went downstairs in the kitchen and grabbed 5 pears, ( cuz I eat pears and stuff like that now. Shoutout to all the pears!) five blueberry muffins, five waters, and a first aid kit. I went upstairs while everyone was still fighting and put the stuff in my bag.
I grabbed a sack of bus tokens and put that in my pocket. I grabbed my coat and hat and put that on. I grabbed my duffel bag and threw it across my shoulder. I went downstairs and walked out the house and they didn't even see me. I knew just where to go. I went in the woods where the 'place' was. I know Hayes would probably be here so I'm just staying here for an hour and looking for a new spot. I went upstairs and to the bedroom.
I threw my bag on the bed and went to were the train track was. Why don't they have a bridge on this thing? I walked straight down the middle when I stepped over a rock. Then I tripped over and fell over the train track. Before I could fall off, I grabbed on the the edge which was iron. "Help!"
I heard footsteps running along. I bet it's Hayes, I thought. But it wasn't Hayes, it was a tall muscular guy that looked about my age with the cut est dimples. "Here", he said and pulled me up. "What are you doing in the middle of the woods on a train track?", he asked as I brushed myself off. "I could ask you the same thing", I said as I ran my hands through my hair. "Wait don't you go to my school?", he asked as I stared at him. I didn't recognize him. "Your Isabelle Dallas, you go out with Hayes Grier, yeah he's on my football team", he said.
"Well used to be", we said in unison. "Hayes cheated on me", I said. "Who would cheat on a strong, brave, girl like you", he said as we walked across the track. "Well you see we have this place..... And then I told him everything that happened.
We ended up walking far off in the woods just talking. "And you never told me your name." I said stepping over a big stick. "Dylan", he said smiling. "Uh huh and what is your reason here?", I said stepping on top of a log and walking across with my arms spread. "Don't you know what's in the woods?", I sung from the movie as he laughed. "Well whenever I wanna just like escape or get away from the world I come....here", he said. Then he moved over some vines that revealed a small house with a mountain cliff next to it.
"It's beautiful", I said walking near the house. "I don't mind sharing", he said and I smiled at him.
