Chapter 24: Kicked Off

After the show which they weren't putting on tv, Remy and I had to go see the judges along with Justin. We walked onto the empty stage and went into one of the seats in the empty auditorium. "Remy, Justin, and the mischievous Isabelle" Katherine said with her Jersey accent. "I don't like that little show you put out on there, because Dance USA is not all fun and games. It's business I mean, you guys are great dancers but we don't need some kids running around here like fools, I'm sorry to this to ya but-" she paused and sighed.

"Your off" she said and walked away. I just sat there with Remy in shock. I saw Cameron and the guys in the corner waiting for me. Justin stood up in front of me. "Listen Isabelle-" he started. "No you listen you dick!" I yelled as I slapped him. "I don't care what you say! Or who you are but you just messed with the wrong person! Just stay the hell away from me okay!" I yelled and ran off in tears. "Isabelle!" I heard Cameron yell after me. Dance USA was my dream and now I'll never get on again.

I ran to the back gates and sat and cried. "Isabelle", Cameron said in a whisper. "What?", I said looking up with my raspy voice. "You have to keep fighting for it", he said. "What? Fighting for what? There's nothing worth fighting for, and I'm probably gonna be kicked off my dance crew so what's the damn point", I cried. "Your dream Izzy. Dance USA", he said with little hope. "It was my dream, then I woke up as it became a single memory that will never come back."

"Then you just have to dream a new one that can come back", he smiled. He helped me up as I hugged him. "Thanks Cam" I said muffled in his shoulder. We walked back inside and I saw my dance crew cheering for me. I looked at them with a confused face. "What's going on?" I asked as they continued clapping and cheering. "You slapped Justin and made him cry!" Someone yelled and everyone laughed. "Wow really? Haha" I laughed. "Isabelle we got your stuff it's in the car meet us in the lot okay?" Cameron said.

"Okay", I said back. I walked over to Lexi looking sad. "Hey Alexandra" I said poking her. "Hey nobody's supposed to know my real name keep it down", she whispered as we laughed. "I'm gonna miss you", I said hugging you. "Have fun on the show okay? And don't cause Sierra trouble", I said. "Wait Sierra is staying with me?!" She squealed, as I nodded. "Well I gotta go call me!" I said running away. I grabbed my jacket and went to the back parking lot.

I saw the van and got in. I buckled my seatbelt and watched the clouds go by. Time to chase another dream.
