A knock at the door woke me up.
“Joel, go and get that” silence responded
“Joel” I called out and tried to reach out to him. I met a cold and empty spot. Great, he is out. Another knock came through.
“Coming” I dragged myself to the door and opened. Room service, with a whole load of deliciousness. Bu I didn’t order anything.
“Mrs. Williams, your husband ordered this for you.” Oh, Joel
“Thanks, come on in.” the boy brought in the trolley of goodies, I tipped him and he left. I picked up a chocolate doughnut and savored its deliciousness. I saw a bunch of roses, neatly tied together with a ribbon and pinned on it was a note. I picked it up, and saw Joel’s neat handwriting.
Morning Cara Mia. Sorry that I woke you up early
But you have a lot to do today
I know you have a lot of questions

For now, just follow my notes till the last one
Eat up, freshen up. I have put out an outfit for you in your room

I smiled. What is he up to now? Nonetheless, I ate up, and went to my room. Did my business, and went to dress up. He took out, my dark blue rippled jeans, a red crop top, a leather jacket and boots. I did my little makeup, and dressed up. I went to the mirror to look at myself. I fund another note

I went to the hotel lobby and looked around for Joel
“Miss West?” I turned around and saw a man
“Yes.”
“Mr. Williams left this for you.” He handed me a note

He led us to a car; we jumped in and drove off. I opened the envelope and found Joel’s gold card, that idiot. Wait till I find him
“Brad, do you know where Joel is?”
“Yes.”
“Where is he?”
“Unfortunately, I can’t tell you. I will take you to him later.”
“Okay.” I sighed. Five minutes later we stopped in front of a shop.
“Go in Miss. I will wait here”
“Okay”
I went into the shop and it was dead silent. A smiling brunette welcomed me.
