The elves were holding their annual festival after the war. They had not been involved in it but they respected both sides enough to postpone the festivities until fighting was over.

Taehyung thought Helix looked a lot more beautiful like this, houses decorated and lanterns hanging overhead. The sun was beginning to set when he, Jungkook and Yugyeom arrived. The air was filled with amazing smells and it didn't take long for him to drag his mate to the food stalls. The girl at the stall had to blink thrice in surprise when she realized who they were.

"Taehyung? And you must be Jungkook, right?"

"Yes?" Jungkook confirmed, glancing at Taehyung in confusion.

"Oh my, this is wonderful! I'm so happy for you! I have to tell the other girls!"

Taehyung just grinned happily, remembering Jimin's cousin Jihyo now that he saw the familiar smile. Jungkook was still baffled.

"Excuse me but... who are you?"

"Name's Jihyo. Nice to meet you Jungkook, your friend Bambam told us about you."

The mention of Bambam brought a sad smile on his face. Jihyo must have been one of the elves that got Taehyung to him when he had his rut, Bambam had told him about it.

"Thank you for your help", Jungkook thanked sincerely.

"Me and my friends were glad to help! Especially now that you two are together like this. Now, what would you like to eat?" she asked with another wide smile.

It seemed like everyone was there, many werewolves of their pack had come to join the celebration and even Jimin had come when Taehyung had asked him to. Jungkook was getting bored watching the two friends talking and teasing each other and left to get a new drink when he saw someone familiar in the treeline.

Getting two drinks instead of just one, he then headed to the trees.

"I didn't expect to see you here", he smiled and handed over the drink that Dahyun gratefully accepted.

"I like watching over festivals. It's like making sure that things end happily."

"Hmm."

The mildly alcoholic beverage burned in his throat pleasantly, warming him from the inside. He could ask why the fairy had saved him but he didn't feel like thinking such things tonight. He wanted to take it easy, liked to think he deserved it after everything.

"Why aren't you with your mate?" Dahyun asked.

"He's already having fun with his friend."

"He misses you", the fairy said matter-as-factly.

"How can you tell?" Jungkook pretended to question although he knew she was always right.

"He's looking around, clearly he's wondering where you went", Dahyun laughed and Jungkook joined the laughter as he turned around and saw it as well. It had been just a basic observation, not some fairy magic.
