And a cheater!! God how did I ever trust you." I shouted. He looked down with guilty eyes. "I'm sorry, please, I-I wasn't thinking straight....It won't happen again...." he walked towards me but I leaned away. "You're right, it won't, because this is over...." I looked at him. "No, Y/n, please, I'm sorry, please forgive me, I-I" he begged. "I'm sorry Kai," I replied as I slammed the door behind me.

"It's ok, don't cry....." Chanri comforted me. "I'll make you some tea." She stood up and headed to my kitchen. Why did he do this? Why did he hurt me? I hope he's happier with her. I hope he will be good to her. I stared out the glass window of my apartment. My thoughts swirling around in circles. My head was pounding me. All of my crying made my eyes red and sore. I look awful to be honest. "Here," My best friend handed me my cup. "Thanks..." I replied.

"Did you hear back from that company you applied for?" She asked. "Not yet, maybe they weren't interested....." I replied looking down. "Just like the others," I mumbled. "It's ok, I'm sure another opening will come up soon." She said.

After a few days New Year's Day was tomorrow. Another year. Yay. Hopefully this one would be better than the last. I really need this job. My family needs the money. I plopped on my bed. Just then my phone rang. "Hello?" I answered. "Really?! Of course! I'll be there!" I replied in excitement. Yes yes yes yessss. Finally!!! They actually hired me! I'm hired. Thank god. I guess this year is already off to a good start. "I got the job!" I yelled through my phone. "Really! That's amazing! I told you to not worry," Chanri said.

"Let's go out to celebrate!" She suggested. "Ummm, I don't know, you know partying isn't really my thing." I replied. "Would you loosen up for a day and go out!" She begged. "Fine," I gave in. "Great I'll be over in 5" she cheered.

"Where are we going?" I questioned. "Chill and trust me," she said. "Last time I trusted you I had to carry you to your apartment from the club, and you were covered in puke." I pointed out. "Don't worry, chill," she said. I was pretty happy that I got this job. So why not celebrate a little.

We entered the club. Flashing lights and the strong stench of alcohol filled my nose. I scrunched my nose disgust. I don't drink, I hate the taste of alcohol.

I sat at the bar with Chanri, we talked and laughed until I noticed someone. "Chanri, look." I motioned her to look at the cute guy who was eyeing her. She lightly giggled. "What are you doing? Go.." I said. "No no today is your celebration and-" I cut her off. "Go, I'll be fine," I insisted. "You sure?" She confirmed. "Yesss now gooo.." I pushed her out of her seat.

After some time she was dancing with him when suddenly a tall man approached me. He looked about my age. He was really handsome. He had black permed hair and a sharp jawline. Big hands and a beautiful face. "Hey cutie," he smiled. "Umm, hi..." I replied. "Whatcha doing here by yourself?" He asked. He didn't seem scary or weird, he had a cool vibe. "I'm here with my friend," I replied. "I'm Taehyung..." he flashed his smile. "I'm Y/n," I smiled. He seemed pretty sweet. We talked for a while. He was a really nice guy. Just then the countdown to New Years started. "Three Two One!" The crowd shouted. I clapped but was pulled out of my action when Taehyung kissed me!
